Vous connaissez @EricNiat? Moi oui. I wish you knew him like me.

In the last 15 years, no one has supported me more, stood by me more than Eric, even in the most difficult circumstances. But that’s who Eric is; Always loyal to his family and friends, loyal to his values. 1/
This Buea born boy does so much for so many, always in his simple, unassuming way. How many sleepless nights working with startups to help them practice their pitches? So supportive that he was nicknamed “supermentor.” 2/
His role at @AppsTech has been so important at crucial moments, taking the helm of our Cameroon, then international operations. He runs a tight ship. Yes. Eric “bottomline” Niat 🤑. 3/
There’s one telling story I have about Eric. We had chaos with motos taxis parked in front of the entrance to the building. Rather than try to chase them away, he organized them. Helped them create an association, and supported them. Now they park in an organized manner. 4/
For as long as I’ve known Eric, he’s been passionate about serving others. Not only supporting budding entrepreneurs, but also youth, and the disenfranchised. So when he said he wanted to run for office, we weren’t surprised. 5/
In 2013, we all came together to support his effort to run for city council in Bangangte. Yes, even our motos taxis, from all different parties, worked tirelessly to get him elected. When he won, we won. Cameroon one. 7/
Eric never acted as one who was entitled to anything because of his last name. He works harder than anyone, lives as simple a life as he possibly can, and works relentlessly to improve the lives of those who society so often ignores. 8/
As polls close, my 🤗🥰 @EricNiat, my Z, my ‘complice’, I want to say that I know your heart and I know that don’t do this for you. You have everything.

I have been so blessed to have you in my life, and I know the people of Bangangté are blessed to have you in theirs.
