Fellas, ALWAYS stand up when shaking someone’s hand. Firm grip, and look them in the eyes.
Also, when wearing dress clothes, your belt is supposed to match your shoes. Stop wearing a black belt with brown shoes, please.
One more thing. When you tie your tie, the tip of the tie is supposed to land in the middle of your belt buckle. Now above nor below.
Oh also, avoid wearing 2 tone suits as much as possible. I know it might be comfortable and a quick put on, but it just doesn’t look as professional.
MAY I ADD, Buttons on your suit! Never button both of them. & always unbutton your suit when you sit down.
1 button: Button it
2 buttons: button the top one, never the bottom one
3 buttons: button the middle one, never the bottom one, & the top one is optional but not recommendd
Oh another point, when you’re out in a suit, you will 8/10 times be at some type of formal event or somewhere where etiquette and class matters. With that being said, never hold a glass in your right hand. Keep it in your left so that your right hand is always open for handshakes
