@HBO’s Temple Grandin (had watched before & enjoyed again. Such a powerful story)

For the most part, #CatherineOHara isn’t in any show/movie nearly as much as her talent deserves. It doesn’t matter the decade. Her characters are some of the most interesting in the shows/films she’s in, no matter screen time.
Bottom line: We need more Catherine O’Hara projects

Tonight I watched @SteveMartinToGo’s 1994 film A Simple Twist of Fate, now part of my “watched because #CatherineOHara is in it” list.
That was a good one. Very sweet. (Of course, needed more Catherine O’Hara.)

Continuing my #CatherineOHara project marathon, watched There Goes the Neighborhood (1992). O’Hara & #JeffDaniels star in this comedy in which she actually had a decent amount of screen time. Why wasn’t she the lead like this in more films over the years? She was (of course) fab

Also note, this film sparked an interesting debate slash convo about roles for women in Hollywood between my hubby & I, pondering sexism, ageism, what’s deemed “of interest” to the public, what scripts even get made. My #CatherineOHara Watch List Project is getting serious.

In honor of #CatherineOHaraDay, rewatching #WaitingForGuffman with my kids (their first time). So I guess that’s on my “(re)watching because #CatherineOHara is in it” project.
As a community theatre member, I find this movie extra funny. Plus O’Hara is a delight in it.

I would be remiss if #CatherineOHaraDay ended without my watching #SchittsCreek, though I’m on my 5th time thru the series & it’s what started my O’Hara watch-a-thon. I don’t think there’s such a thing as too many times for this show. So ! @Realeugenelevy & @danjlevy = genius

It just so happens I was on the Moira’s birthday episode (s1e12 Surprise Party), which makes for the perfect ending to this delightful day of celebrating Ms. O’Hara!
