The people actively identifying as anti antis and running anonymous discourse blogs where they dismiss all criticism of fandom content and fan behavior as invalid are ridiculous fucks who actively worked to get people to equate criticism of media/fandom with censorship.

Sucks that you can't like call out the racism you'd supposedly would call out if not for the existence of critical fans of color you've relabeled as fandom police, but uh... You did this to yourselves in the process of making fandom extra unwelcoming to critique.

It just angers me that there are people who dismiss and derail conversations on racism in fandom and who've definitely contributed to strangling the potential for criticism in these spaces blaming their silence on bigotry on fandom police they've labeled and are silencing.

Anyone who essentially says "I would call out bigotry in fandom and media if not for how I'd be seen as an anti" is

A) an asshole
B) someone that wasn't actually going to call out bigotry in those spaces in the first place unless it directly affected them as an individual
