taemin is just THAT smart

let’s start with taemin kicking everyone’s ass on problematic men. they had to try and find the hidden figure on this picture:

and taemin was the first one to do so:

then, they had do solve this hard ass puzzle:

and taemin just knew the answer SO SO quickly:

now, let’s move on and talk about him giving interviews. he’s just so eloquent when explaining things, this is as good an example as any to prove it:

these are just fragments of an interview taemin did last year (shoutout to @stacynam for such an amazing interview). in this one he’s talking about not being able to sing well when he first started

in here they’re taking about what he feels that he is ‘lacking’, and he describes what he feels that he has to improve

here, they’re talking about ‘soldier’, a song written by taemin, and what the lyrics mean to him

he can DEADASS learn a whole choreography in a DAY

in this one, they were talking about the relevance that had MOVE’s choreography, even to other dancers, and taemin explains what dancing means to him

finally, stacy asks him how does he want to be recognised as for his music, to what he answers with this:

this is another interview, with the test of SHINee, hosted by stacy again, where she asked them what would they say to their pre debut selves:

I showed all of these, because I believe that he expresses his thoughts in such an insightful and mannered way of speaking, and lots of people usually don’t remember that, and mindlessly call him names

this interview he gave, explaining his thoughts on gender roles and how he tries to ‘blur’ that line between femininity and masculinity (nme magazine)

and here he explains makeup, and what a great part of his character and image it is (allure magazine)

I believe this one just speaks for himself (anotherman magazine)
