My incredible volunteers for Warren run our organization, grow their communal ties and collective power, and teach me more about how and why we do this work every day.
I am so inspired by my volunteer who is a writer and a veteran, can’t canvass because of PTSD, but runs trainings b/c she knows that by working for Warren she is building a future in which she’s not constantly struggling with the VA.
I’m inspired by all the moms building better futures for their children - by phone banking during naptime.
I’m in awe of my 24-year old precinct captain, who has knocked 1,000+ doors this year because he’s building a world in which he won’t be crushed by student debt and cut off from opportunity and stability.
I am so inspired by my #introvertsforwarren volunteers, who have become more and more comfortable owning their power and sharing their stories while doing this work.
I am inspired by my volunteer who is a pharmacist and just never wants to be told to deny someone the meds they need ever again.
I am inspired by the 11-year old girls who come knock doors with me because they want to be President someday.
I am inspired by the oncology nurse who has seen far too many of her patients go broke from medical costs, and is ready to fight for them.
A single person, or a single election, will never be enough. That’s why I’m proud to work for @ewarren, who will be the first to tell you that nothing ever gets done without a great team and a big movement. So lucky to be a part of @IAforWarren. Organizing is everything. /
