i want the show where it's just Data teaching at the Academy, and his heartwarming struggle to be the best teacher he can be.
Episode 1 - He takes on a failing class of misfits, thinking he can turn it around by employing current teaching techniques.
He learns many of his students have personal issues behind their performance.
Episode 2 - Geordie comes to visit. He and Data hand out on Campus.
Data has to ask Geordie to leave.
Episode 3 - Spot III becomes a campus celebratory after he escapes Data's apartment. Data has to learn to trust the students to take care of him.
A Vulcan student is transferred to the class and causes problems as they don't believe they should be there.
Episode 4 - Data must deal with a student whose culture rejects the idea of exams.
Episode 5 - Data has a crisis when the Vulcan student resigns. Troi calls, Data discusses his am-dram class, then calls Guinan for help with the student.
Guinan is a hit on campus. She convinces the Vulcan to give Star Fleet another go.
Episode 6 - ( Mid season cliff hanger) Data must reapply for tenure.
Geordie goes for a job interview.
The Vulcan student agrees to babysit Spot III and must learn to think of others.
The astrophysics professor next door gets a mean cat who hates Spot III.
*Cliffhanger*
Episode 7 - The mold in Dorm 36B's fridge becomes sentient and forms a bond with Trisha a ragrag Engineering student. Data helps Trisha save the mold from Starfleet health and Safety.
Episode 8 - The mean cat turns out to be a scout from an alien race who assumed cats were the dominant species. Data, Trish and the Vulcan student T'kal use the mold to help translate. The mean 'cat' leaves.
Episode 9 - Wesley appears in Data's class. Only Data realizes he wasn't there from the start. Wesley helps Data get tenure then disappears.
Episode 10 -T'kal tries to hack Data's computer in order to get access to the exam questions in advance. Trisha tries to stop him. They get trapped inside Data's Sherlock program and must stop the story going off the rails. Data has to guide them from the outside.
Episode 11 - The students receive an acceptable grade. The mold decides to leave and study so it can join Starfleet. Miles O'Brien shows up to give a guest lecture but the projector won't work. He and Data must team up to fix it.
Guest lectures are Star Trek: Data's holodeck episodes.
Episode 12 - Picard stops by and has a freak transporter accident. Damaging his memory and altering his personality. He suddenly seems very fond of Data, but the only words he can speak are "Tea, Earl Grey."
Episode 13 - There's a panic as budget cuts are announced. Data runs out of white hair dye. Data and his students learn to protest....
After researching the issue they realize that money no longer exists and everything is fine.
Somewhere on DS9 a Ferengi sneezes.
Episode 14 - Data diligently keeps his office hours but none of the students show up. He ends up getting into a rap battle with the Computer.
Episode 15 - A freak accident wipes all video games from the Starfleet Archives except King's Quest (1980). T'Kal looses all faith in logic.
Episode 16 - Data must give a talk at a conference. All goes well until Moriarty shows up to heckle. Data must learn to deal with a tough audience.
Episode 17 - A performance of a Midsummer Night's Dream goes horribly wrong when the performers find a pocket of time in the props room. Data must find a way for the show to go on as time runs backwards.
Episode 18 - Geordie is allowed back on campus. Unfortunately as he arrives T'kal initiates a science experiment that emits a rare form of radiation. It triggers latent memories in Geordie who lies down in the campus fountain thinking he is a fish.
Episode 19 - Troi and Riker show up for a class reunion. Lwaxana Troi shows up to crash the party. Everyone is mad when they realize that T'kal failed to order any decorations for the party. Lwaxana teaches everyone how to use a glue gun and saves the day.
Episode 20 - Data has to deal with another lecturer sabotaging his work. He's tempted by T'Kal's offer to leave Tribbles in his rivals office but opts to talk to the Dean instead. The Tribbles get out and eat all the crisps on campus.
Episode 21 - Data realizes he can take a day off. He asks Geordie to go fishing. Geordie hangs up. Data takes Guinan instead.
Episode 22 - Starfleet orders new printers and is shocked when they work first time. After investigating Data realizes the network has been assimilated by the Borg. He decides this is an improvement.
Episode 23 - Data takes the students offworld on a field trip. Their shuttle is captured by a sentient planet made entirely of discarded AOL CDs that were shot into space. Data and his class must guess the keyword to escape.
Episode 24 - Data starts having surreal dreams, strange images cloud his vision. His teaching suffers. After enlisting Geordie's help they discover his screensaver was accidentally turned on.
Episode 25 - ( Part 1) - The students must pass their exams. Data finds himself being questioned over T'Kal's various hijinks. The students find themselves in an unwinnable situation..
Episode 26 - (Part 2) - Starfleet agrees to allow T'Kal to continue. Data must calm the students down after the exams. He starts to campaign for less traumatic testing.
Spot III's medical results come back, she's pregnant... ( End of season 1).
Season 2 - Episode 1 - During summer vacation Data encounters a temporal anomaly. There he meets the cool Disco space dad Pike. Pike agrees to go back to the academy to teach. Neither can figure out how the Klingon spy stuff with Ash worked.
Episode 2 - Data must wrestle with the idea of anger. He must accept it's OK to be angry, but not angry enough to run around doing action stuff instead of diplomacy. Spot II learns the meaning of friendship after befriending the mouse that lives in Holodeck 6.
Episode 3 - Geordie is back. They must fix the microphones in Holodeck 6, so they can finish an important conference call. Spot admits to Pike that his friend the mouse ate the wiring. Pike helps mediate a stop to all wire chewing at Star Fleet headquarters.
Episode 4 - Data prepares for a new semester. Gets distracted when he discovers the work of Bob Ross. "How can trees be happy? What happened to Pockets the squirrel?". Geordie confronts Pike. Pike calmly discusses the situation.
Episode 5 - Pike must return to his own universe. Data decides it'll be a fun student project. Instead they open a portal to the mirror universe. They manage to escape but loose track of Pike. Data's workload increases again.
Episode 6 - Data is stuck in meetings all day. Spot III gives birth to a new form of life, while nesting in Data's art supplies. Data must race back home to help, but must make sure he doesn't loose funding.
Episode 7 - Everyone tries to work out how Vasbinder got tenure.
Episode 8 - Musical episode
Episode 9 - Data must work out how to integrate a transfer student, while maintaining the momentum of his course. The transfer student must also secretly get used to the new body their consciousness has been uploaded to.
Chief O'Brien takes on a job at the academy.
