why red velvet and exo should collaborate with each other at least once before they go on hiatus (if they ever go)- an important thread

Firstly, both move in the same music genres. Here some examples of songs that have the same vibe/beat so u can see how both groups fit at each others' songs.(Ofc the same happens with other SM artists as well becs they share the same producers but this is only for exovelvet)

imagine a collab in the beat of going crazy with elements from so good

a classic one bad boy/kokobop... i still don't find the songs similar at all... each one is unique but the mashup brings in the surface similarities and makes you want a collab by them more

So abt the concepts of the groups...
As we all know red velvet has 2 'sides' the red and the velvet. So when u look for a group that switch from bright to dark concept RV is the answer. EXO has also done bright&dark concepts. Which makes u wonder why they haven't collabed yet

Let's talk about the members...
Both have some of the best vocalists in 3rd generation of kpop and in general. Wendy, Jongdae, Kyungsoo, Seulgi, Joy, Baekhyun, Junmyeon legendary isn't it?? While all the other members of the groups are more than capable vocalists.

About dancing... well... The most talented dancers are in these groups. Their unique moves can left you speechless,, both groups' stage precense is incredible while they leave the audience mesmerized with their performances. Yixing, Seulgi, Jongin, Irene, Sehun, Minseok, Baek

About the rap linesAmazing flows, meaningful lyrics, and all of these by ppl who didn't even train to be rappers...Chanyeol, Irene, Sehun, Yeri as main rappers while Minseok, Joy, Yixing as sub-rappers slay in every song.
Let me also add about CY&YR how multi-talented both are.

(and something that has nothing to do with the collab but i wanted to mention it) ALL OF THEM ARE VISUALS.

So about the chemistry they have on stage... Unfortunately there is no collab stage between the 2 groups but some members have collaborated through the years. Jongdae and Irene performing lil' something is something we should not forget. They're so cute.

The most known collab between the members is Stay With Me by Chanyeol and Wendy. Literally I treasure these stages SMtown concert gave us and go back to them becs they sound so good together. Such a waste of SM to not give them a collab song after these.

another plus one in this collab to happen is that exo and red velvet genuinely enjoy each others' music while they have multiple times supported each other here's a small compilation of them covering, jamming to each other's songs

I also want to add this one clip here. I miss exovelvet promoting at the same time.

I will end this thread here feel free to add more in the replies. I want to also say that exovelvet never stop experimenting musically and none of their albums or cbs look like something they have done before. That's why an exovelvet collab is a must.
