I’ve conceded that I'm never going to have time to watch every horror movie I need to get around to, much less review them. So I made a list of titles currently streaming (mostly on Shudder), put them in a randomizer, and this was the 1st one it spit out.

this week's edition is very exciting

They let us leave work early because of impending snow, so I'm getting an early start on this week's movie.

APOSTLE is pretty solid. The story is a little more unwieldy and the pacing a little shaggier than I'd like them to be, but at the end of the day this is basically British occult/folk stuff so of course I'm for it.

I've got one more movie in me tonight, and this one should be short enough.

LAKE BODOM is a neat little puzzle box that feels like a different kind of slasher movie with each twist and turn. Grows increasingly grim, too, which tracks, I suppose.
