Anti-fascist work is so much more than masking up and confronting violent fascists in the streets. Below is a partial list of roles that anti-fascists fulfill, where do you fit in?
Street medics: one of the first lines of support for street activists. A lot of times this is just helping flush tear gas, but be prepared to treat bleeding and blunt force impact injuries.
Street medic support: helping acquire supplies, bottled water, snacks, a space to gather near actions
Transportation: being available to pick up people that need to leave an action
Media surveillance: watching live feeds and social media accounts of people on the ground to help comrades know what’s happening in places they physically aren’t in. This can be done from home
Childcare: some of us supersoldiers have kids
Counter-radicalization: fascists will be spreading propaganda through crowds at events, are you good at talking to people to help counter the message?
Media spokesperson: can you deliver pinpointed messages to the media that convey the truths and won’t be twisted?
Community outreach: talking with residents about events that are about to happen, the risks of the people that will be participating, and ways to communicate back tips if they see anything
Neighborhood watch: being available to be in your neighborhood and watching for fascists that have roamed away from the event, and using social media to report them to anti-fascists
Jail support: fundraising bail money, talking to magistrates, bringing food and cigs to the jail support groups
Court support: funding lawyers, sitting in court with those charged, helping gather evidence to help their case
I know I’m missing some roles, please feel free to add more thoughts below. This is a partial list to help people with different strengths and abilities to think about where they might fit in. Start organizing now, not the week something is about to happen.

Being a financial backer is huge. Whether it’s funding groups like @RVABailFund or donating to QTPOCs in crisis or purchasing tourniquets and quick clot. The lack of funds is holding so many of us back.

One friend just DMed about wanting to do acupuncture for people after rallies, and for people who are de-radicalizing from hate groups. As someone who received free therapy after Unite the Right, I know that volunteering services like this, and therapy, is extremely crucial.
