I took a break from engaging on social media for obvious reasons (still am) but came across an idea that I felt maybe is my duty today to share to provide some healing I need & maybe you too:
I was listening to a podcast with guest James Silva and he said a quote that stuck with me “we’re all Gods, we just forgot.”

And that made me pause I’ve always believed God is in all things, and that made me realize we are often most God like when we’re first born.
So THEN I had this idea...

You know movies where a person loses their memory and their partner spends everyday reminding them who they are & how they fell in love?

What if that’s our job? To remind ourselves of the Gods we once were. Of the connection we’ve forgotten?
Then I asked myself “if I had to remind myself that I once was God, that I was once so connected to this spiritual realm of being that I didn’t question anything, just existed and was happy, all I knew was the love in me and around me, what would I do?”
Then I just finished reading “Eat Pray Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert and she talked about in Bali babies aren’t allowed to touch the ground for the first 6 months bc they are still god like or spiritual beings, then they cross over to entering human experience of life in a ceremony
I may look at baby pictures, I may tell myself to devote to giving, I may remind myself what peace looked like for me once, and what it can be today, I may take myself to the middle of nature and just sit and stare...

The answers are limitless bc we are limitless. We are as God
I thought back to movies where the partner is trying to recharge someone’s memory after amnesia and thought from that perspective.

If I was looking at myself laying in some bed so confused and disconnected from God, what would I do to remind me that I am and come from light?
I think we spend a lot of time trying to get closer to God or make sense of the world, when it’s really a return. Its about realizing God is not just a being to ask things of, but a part of you—really all of you. And we don’t have to ask all the time but listen and remember
