“Joker” is the best film of 2019. Like all appearances of the titular character in media; it has sociopolitical and metaphysical importance to the USA. The former has been analyzed by many.
I intend to focus on the latter. 1/
I contend that the Joker is used by Holy Wood as a form and focus for spell casting. In past threads I contemplated these effects as predictive but I believe in some ways they may been partially caused. 2/
Phoenix’s Joker is The Fool in tarot. The general conception of this is a young man prepared to go off on adventure, his first step plunging him directly into danger. 3/
The Fool tarot is near precisely replicated including the mountain and color scheme etc in “The Imaginarium if Doctor Parnassus” with Colin Farrell playing Heath Ledgers character as Ledger had died. Ledger himself replicated the Hanged Man card for his last appearance w Batman.
Ledger was suicided and hanged irl. His character in “Doctor Parnassus” his last film, dies hanged under a bridge. I mention this as evidence of film/tarot and the Joker character connections. 4/
*Censoring some images randomly to give less exposure to dangerous knowledge*
The Fool card is used in spell casting as a focus. He’s “not the beginning but the cause of the beginning”. 5/
“Relaxing is vital to the spell” (“why so serious?”)
Notice the mantra of “everything I want I create” for someone using The Fool as a focus. This is how the films work. 6/
The above image also advises yoga breathing practices at the start of the spell. Almost like how Phoenix uses another eastern mystic practice of tai chi in the restroom after he kills the Wall Street Three. The murder itself is a sacrifice while the tai chi begins the change. 6/
The spell formula then advises playing tricks and pranks to help bring about the change you has in mind. Don’t think I need to explain how this parallels the character. 7/
“The black joker is said to correspond to the Fool and the RED joker has said to correspond to the Magician.” Joker first seen in red descending the stairs imo having now become the Magician. 8/
The Magician takes the step from wishing things into being to actually bringing them about. “He stands with arms stretched upwards towards the universe” 9/
From this point forward Joker, now Magician, brings things about. Doesn’t just fantasize. The murder of the fat clown frenemy could be seen also as being painted red since so much blood. Violent acts before then were off camera or in self defense. 9/
So what spell did the film “Joker” cast? This will become more sociopolitical& I’ll keep it short because there are volumes of such analysis on this film. Easiest way 2figure it out is look at actor they use for the characrrr of Joker (and all important film characters tbh) 9/
Actors in important social touchstone films are acting out a sort of liturgical dance. Similar to how a priest appears in persona Christi at Mass. in persona Joker, in persona badguy, etc. this is why method acting is a thing and why actors get “typecast”. 10/
Athur, the character, was sexually abused as a child. The revelation helps bring about his change to The Magician. Phoenix himself likely was abused in the “children of god” cult & there are some who say his brother (who died mysteriously similarly to Ledger) was too. I11/
If Cesar Romero’s Joker brought about multi culturalism, Nicholson’s brought about broken homes, Ledger’s the gay era, Jared Leto the transsexual era...
Sadly I believe Phoenix’s Joker is set to bring about “minor attraction rights” & the trans humanism era (“Her”) 11/
As many have also said (though I was among the first to predict), the spell is also likely to bring about the anti-incel era. 12/12
