A "mixed bag" of ABBA; three strong singles, a cover of the Hitch-Hiker's theme, a routine ballad and an unfinished mini-musical.

Top 3 tunes: All the Umbrellas in London, Love is Lighter than Air, You and Me and the Moon

Top 3 tunes: Human Being, The River, Tiny Love
You can skip: The Mountain
Rating: 10/10

Another classic from the 21st century's answer to Lulu. Rifftastic rock. Tiny Love has even reduced me to tears while running through Oliver's Battery.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Something to Remember. Madonna. 1995.
Top 3 tunes: I'll Remember, Take A Bow, Crazy For You
You can skip: I Want You

#EveryAlbumIOwn Singles Collection. Kim Wilde. 1993.
Top 3 tunes: Kids in America, Chequered Love, Cambodia
You can skip: In My Life

Top 3 tunes: Gotta Get Up, Without You, Jump Into The Fire
You can skip: I'll Never Leave you
Rating: 8/10

Yeah, the Russian Doll song. If the Beatles had kept going into the 1970s, they would've produced albums like this.

Top 3 tunes: Kingsize, High as Monkeys, Adieu Clo Clo
You can skip: She is Everywhere (sounds like early 90s BRs)

Top 3 tunes: Mile End, Ansaphone, P.T.A.
You can skip: Deep Fried in Kelvin
Rating: 6/10

Of course I have the version with the second disc. The Different Class b-sides are great. The His'n'Hers b-sides are not so great and go on a bit.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Lessons to be Learned. Gabriella Cilmi. 2008.
Top 3 tunes: Sweet About Me, Save The lies, Sanctuary
You can skip: Messy is duff Britpop
Rating: 7/10

#EveryAlbumIOwn War of the Worlds. Jeff Wayne. 1978.
Top 3 tunes: The Eve..., Horsell... (sounds like Head Games Suede), Forever Autumn
You can skip: Disc 2
Rating: 8/10

Top 3 tunes: Just Like Eddie, Red River Rock, Let's Dance
You can skip: Oh Boy!
Rating: 4/10

Daniel Miller sings the hits from the 60s with a clothes peg on his nose. Mute's 2nd ever LP. Amazing they kept going, really!
#EveryAlbumIOwn Electro-Shock Blues. Eels. 1998.
Top 3 tunes: Cancer for the Cure, Last Stop This Town, Climbing to the Moon

#EveryAlbumIOwn Nobody Else. Take That. 1995.
Top 3 tunes: Sure, Back for Good, Lady Tonight
You can skip: Hanging Onto Your Love
Rating: 6/10

Back for Good is a classic. Never Forget is both ghastly and amazing. But too many generic Backstreet Boys songs that go on too long.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Behaviour. Pet Shop Boys. 1990.
Top 3 tunes: How Can You..., So Hard, Jealousy
You can skip: This Must Be...
Rating: 8/10

Analogue synths make this their most Erasure-ish album (if that's a good thing). So Hard and Jealousy are inarguably their two best songs.

#EveryAlbumIOwn Like You Do. Lightning Seeds. 1997.
Top 3 tunes: Pure, Perfect, Waiting For Today...
You can skip: intro of Marvellous

#EveryAlbumIOwn Supernature. Goldfrapp. 2005.
Top 3 tunes: Ooh La La, Lovely 2CU, Fly Me Away
You can skip: Let It Take You
Rating: 9/10

The Frapps go glam, more Bolan than Glitter thankfully. Satin Chic sounds like Old Siam Sir. Point deducted for not opening with Lovely 2CU.
#EveryAlbumIOwn 12 Stops and Home. The Feeling. 2007.
Top 3 tunes: Never Be Lonely, Fill My Little World, Love It When...
You can skip: Strange

#EveryAlbumIOwn Elton John. Elton John. 1970.
Top 3 tunes: Take Me..., Border Song, Greatest Discovery
You can skip: First Episode...
Rating: 10/10

So good that Your Song & King Must Die don't even make the top 3. Greatest D usually reduces me to tears - Taupin's best lyric.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da. Madness. 2012.
Top 3 tunes: How Can I Tell You, Misery, So Alive
You can skip: Circus Freaks
Rating: 10/10

#EveryAlbumIOwn The Rutles. 1978.
Top 3 tunes: Doubleback Alley, Piggy in the Middle, Let's Be Natural
You can skip: Blue Suede Schubert
Rating: 10/10

#EveryAlbumIOwn Radio One Sound City Leeds. Various. 1996.
Top 3 tunes: Sale of the Century, Carnival, You and me Song
You can skip: Rollercoaster, Bankrobber Sensi

My only Elvis album. Never quite got into him cos I can never make out a word he is singing! Still, 42 tracks is enough to be going on with!
#EveryAlbumIOwn Dazzle Ships. OMD. 1983.
Top 3 tunes: Genetic Engineering, Dazzle Ships, Romance of the Telescope
You can skip: Of All The Things...
Rating: 8/10

OMD's weirdest album. A Kraftwerkian sound collage. But it sounds immense and has a uniquely haunting atmosphere.
#EveryAlbumIOwn The Magic Treehouse. Ooberman. 1999.
Top 3 tunes: Blossoms Falling, Shorley Wall, Amazing in Bed
You can skip: Roro Blue
Rating: 8/10

One of those upbeat bands like Octopus & Supernaturals that came along just as Britpop was going out of fashion. A bit SFA/GZM.
#EveryAlbumIOwn To Sir With Love. Lulu. 2005.
Top 3 tunes: Love Loves to Love Love, Show Me, Gimme Some Lovin'
You can skip: The Next Door, Why Did I Choose...

#EveryAlbumIOwn Funky Dory. Rachel Stevens. 2004.
Top 3 tunes: Some Girls, Sweet Dreams My LA Ex, Fools
You can skip: More More More
Rating: 7/10

The first half is killer, the second half is filler save for Little Secret. Covering More More More was a bad record company idea.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Pop & Wave Vol 1. Various. 1992.
Top 3 tunes: Hey Little Girl. Smalltown Boy. Cars.
You can skip: Shout to the Top
Rating: 8/10

Rescued this from a 'returns' bin at Mute cos it's a good compilation - hits with forgotten classics like 25 Years & Send Me An Angel.
#EveryAlbumIOwn Lovesexy. Prince. 1988.
