Bernie's embrace of Joe Rogan and the Bros embrace of the alt-right has reminded me that it's time for a timeline of everything Bernie Sanders has done on behalf of civil rights and the liberation of Black people from white supremacy.
1961: Participated in a CORE testing project to verify whether or not the University of Chicago honored its anti-discrimination policy by seeking housing in a university-owned facility. They proved UoC discriminated. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/03/bernie-sanders-uchicago-core-letter/

though he has embraced Joe Rogan who uses racist epithets and compares Black people to apes & even retweeted Rogan
Now there are non-legislative things he has done such as saying guns in VT are not the same as guns in Chicago, erasing Conyers entire history of introducing Medicare For All for years, turning people against BLM, campaigning for white anti-choice man vs. Native American woman
He's said that it's not racist to vote for Trump, that white people in MS who voted so overwhelmingly against Obama were not racist, argued that economics is the solution to racism (A BIG FAT DAMAGING LIE)
I can think of dozens of things Bernie has done that have been detrimental to people of color due to his dismissal of identity politics, his gun positions, and his crime positions. But this is what he did to advance civil rights and that's not much
