I wanna do one of them threads where I tell you what games I've completed through the year because why not? Get your ass ready for my #GamesCompletedIn2020
Game number 1: New Super Lucky's Tale (Nintendo Switch) Completed 06/01/2020
Really enjoyed this one, not too difficult platformer that switches up the level style quite often but nails it every time, some really great writing too.

Game Number 2: WarioWare Gold (Nintendo 3DS) Completed 18/01/2020
WarioWare best of that gave me a chance to play a lot of Twisted Microgames for the first time. Think I'd gone long enough not playing the series for this to feel fresh, 100% ready for a Switch entry to the series

Game Number 3: Eqqo (Nintendo Switch) Completed 27/02/2020
Really interesting game, you guide a lost child on a journey through the eyes of his mother's dream(?) so a 2nd person perspective. Doesn't get too complicated but offers just enough challenge to compliment the story well

Game Number 4: Human Fall Flat (PS4) Completed 24/03/2020
Started playing this ages ago and stopped to do it in multiplayer, nobody else got it so finished on my own. Fun game, clever puzzles and very satisfying physics. Would have preferred multiplayer but still worth my time

Game Number 5: Murder By Numbers (Nintendo Switch) Completed 30/03/2020
My favourite non Animal Crossing game of the year so far. A mixture of Phoenix Wright style investigating and Picross reeled me in, the story and characters are well written and it's reasonably challenging

Game Number 6: Pikuniku (Nintendo Switch) Completed 19/04/2020
Very funny from the off, silly humour with some good references sprinkled in too. On the short side but great value for the 89p I paid.

Game Number 7: 60 Seconds (Nintendo Switch) Completed 12/05/2020
Played this early in the Switch's life and didn't give it much time but revisited in the last week and it's been fun, easy to have a quick go just to see what scenarios you might get

Game Number 8: SpeedRunners (Nintendo Switch) Completed 13/05/2020
Only took an hour or so to beat the story, there's more to unlock but I'll be doing that mainly in multiplayer which from the session I had the other day I can say is really good

Game Number 9: Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4) Completed 26/05/2020
They did a cracking job although I say this as someone who watched more of the original than I played of it. The battle system is great, it looks amazing and the music is second to none. A must play for PS4 owners

Game Number 10: Roombo: First Blood (Nintendo Switch) Completed 28/06/2020
Started and finished within an hour. You play as a Robot Vacuum cleaner and have to use hacking skills to kill your home's intruders before hoovering up their remains. Quirky but very little content.

Game Number 11: Splasher (Nintendo Switch) Completed 07/07/2020
Annoyingly my save won't say completed cos it crashed as the credits started.
Anyway really fun platformer with lots of neat ideas, well worth your time, I'd still be playing Time Attack now if it didn't crash

Game Number 12: The Last of Us Remastered (PS4) Completed 12/07/2020
Started playing this to decide if I wanted the new one and ended up dragging it out a bit. Now finished it and the DLC which I'd not played before and really liked it. Ready for Part II now.

Game Number 13: Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas (Switch) Completed 21/07/2020
Surprised I persisted with this, I was interested in it as it's obviously inspired by Zelda but it's quite bland and doesn't do anything anywhere close to the quality of a Zelda game.

Game Number 14: The Last of Us Part II (PS4) Completed 06/07/2020
An excellent games by all accounts full of some great storytelling and even better set pieces. Felt bloated towards the latter half though and should have been shorter, wouldn't have needed to crunch if it was.

Game Number 15: Paper Mario: The Origami King (Switch) Completed 14/07/2020
Gets a lot of stick for its battle system and rightly so as it gets a bit tiresome at times but everything else about the game is brilliant, quality writing, fun boss battles and full of great moments

Game Number 16: Donut County (Switch) Completed 16/07/2020
Short and sweet, not much in terms of a challenge but it's funny and a little weird in the right way. Would have felt a little short changed if I paid full price but we'll worth experiencing for about a fiver

Game Number 17: Super Mario 64 (Switch) Completed 23/07/2020
What a joy this was to play again, still amazing to this day and whilst the camera hasn't aged well everything else has, I even managed to find a few things I'd never seen before.

Game Number 18: Spyro: Year of the Dragon (PS4) Completed 27/07/2020
Already started this way back and hot a bit tired of it after previously playing the other 2 games in the Reignited collection. The weaker of the 3 games thanks to Spyro's friends. The series is fine I guess.

Game Number 19: Hades (Nintendo Switch) Completed 22/10/2020
Not sure if I should count this one because even though I've done my first run I reckon there's a lot more to the game and story with future runs. Most importantly though, this is a cracking game that you need to play.

I've absolutely ruined this thread by constantly putting the wrong date for beaten games, the entire month of September is July apparently
