#1 - The Outer Worlds

I& #39;d been desperate for a game that successfully scratched my Fallout itch, and this was it. I loved everything about it - the gameplay, characters, and especially the snarky dialogue options. I was both kind and an extreme arsehole.

#2 - Control

This. Goddamn. Game. I didn& #39;t want it to end! The visuals, story & gameplay were all incredible. It also has some of the most creative (& funny) missions I& #39;ve ever experienced. Plus, it features music by Poets of the Fall & Porcupine Tree https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="πŸ‘Œ" title="Ok hand" aria-label="Emoji: Ok hand">

#3 - Transistor

I hadn& #39;t played this for a few years & was in the mood to revisit it. It& #39;s still my favourite @SupergiantGames title. The art style & soundtrack are stunning, & the story touches my heart in ways very few things have. Beautiful game.

#4 - Bastion

This game is still fantastic. The combat is fun, the narrator has many highly amusing lines, & the SOUNDTRACK, MAN. Like Transistor, it& #39;s one of the best ones I& #39;ve ever heard. @DarrenKorb is insanely talented.

#5 - Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Like I did with the original RE2 before the release of its remake last year, I decided to replay the original RE3. It& #39;s still incredibly tense, & I can& #39;t wait to see what they do with the city & Nemesis in the remake.

#6 - Resident Evil 0

I& #39;ve played this tons of times. It& #39;s still enjoyable, but not one of my favourites. The item dropping aspect didn& #39;t particularly gel with me, but I appreciate them trying something new. The HD version looks incredible, though!

#7 - DOOM (2016)

I forgot to add this when I finished it! I played through it again last week to prepare for DOOM Eternal. Still love it to death. Brutal & chaotic, with one of the greatest game soundtracks ever made. BFG Division owns my entire ass.

#8 - DOOM Eternal

I was a bit unsure about the platforming elements, but I ended up having a blast. The music is incredible, there are some neat easter eggs, & the final boss was intense. I loved it.

Certain enemies can fellate a chainsaw, though.

#9 - Detroit: Become Human

This was one of the most incredible gaming experiences I& #39;ve ever had & it will likely become a favourite. I became extremely attached to the main characters & their struggles, so of course, I accidentally got them all killed https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="πŸ™ƒ" title="Upside-down face" aria-label="Emoji: Upside-down face">

#10 - Resident Evil 3

I was initially unsure about the parts removed from the original, but ended up loving it. There was more of an emphasis on survival & escape than exploration, which, to me, worked. Jill was badass, & still my favourite RE girl.
