I'm a 62 year old Granny, I've had 4 children including premature twins in NNICU for 8 weeks, I had ovarian surgery years ago and cat scans, OBGYN visits, specialist appointments and NEVER once one red cent out of pocket for medical care.

My taxes cover it, and also undoubtedly cover expenses for some people I will never meet. But then, my taxes, like yours, also pay for highways I will never drive on, education for children I don’t know, firefighting for homes and businesses that are not mine..............

As well as policing for towns I don’t live in. And I’m ok with all of that. Health care is simply another one of those services that a compassionate nation provides for its citizens. It happens in 32 of the world’s 33 developed countries............

Here in Canada we have had Universal Healthcare for OVER 50 YEARS!!!!

15% for the the first $46,000 of taxable income, 20% up to $93,000, 26% up to $145,000, 29% up to 205,000, 33% over $205,000 We also have a number of tax breaks so this is all based on taxable income.
