how i successfully got soundcheck and floor for love yourself: speak yourself tour ; a thread

in this thread i’ll talk about how i was able to get sc and floor as well give tips on how to buy tickets for bts! keep in mind though that ticketing may be different for this year if the raffle is implemented. i’ll go into more detail about this later in the thread.

my first tip is to have multiple devices. everyone says this and thats because its essential. how ticketmaster works is once tickets go on sale you’re randomly placed in line for the queue. it doesnt matter how early you get onto the website. one of your devices may be ahead in +

line than the others and can get past the queue before your other devices so its important to have as many different devices that you possibly can to buy tickets. for example my laptop got past the queue way before my phone did so i had a chance to get sc.

my second tip is to have the fastest internet possible. the faster your internet is, the better chance you’ll have tickets. you can test your internet speed by searching “internet speed test” on google. your internet speed should be “very fast.” if it isn’t, you may want to +

search for other possible places you can buy tickets at, like a friend or family’s house. i dont recommend places with public wifi because those tend to be slower. the faster your internet is, the better chance you’ll have getting past the queue quickly.

my third tip is to have an account already made on the website you’ll buy tickets on and adding your card info prior to ticket sales. once you select your tickets there will be a timer in which you are given a time limit to check out. it’s normally around 5 minutes so you want +

to have an account already made and your card info saved so that checkout is faster and you don’t lose your tickets once the timer is up.

going based off the last tip, my next tip is to be persistent. on ticketmaster’s website it allows you to select the seats you want if theyre available. all seats that available are going to be blue and orange (orange seats with stars on them are soundcheck). here’s an example:

you should be persistent because you may see a seat thats shown as avail but once you try to check out tm will say that a fan beat you to the seat or theyll try to give you similar seat that are avail. tickets get dropped and released all the time due to time running out during +

checkout or people end up not buying those seats because they don’t want them. this happened to me when i was buying my sc seats. if the seats i clicked weren’t available i clicked on diff sc seats until i was able to check out even after tm kicked me off the website 3 times.

my fourth tip is to not be picky and be as quick as you can when selecting seats. if you finally are able to check out but the seats you got aren’t exactly the ones you want, you should still get them bc its possible once you release those tickets and try getting the ones you +

want tickets will already be sold out. i say this esp for those aiming for floor and sc. take whatever you can get because floor and sc are the tickets that are first to sell out and go the fastest. i didnt get the exact sc seats i wanted but i was still happy i got sc at all.

those are how i got tickets for last years tour, but if the raffle is implemented by bh then that means things will be different. i have basic knowledge about how the raffle works so i’ll explain what i know for those that aren’t sure how it works!

bh will raffle off a certain section of floor seats for soundcheck for each date and venue. only membership holders can enter these raffles. bh tell us the date and time that theyll announce raffle winners. you enter the raffle through weply and you check your raffle status there

if youve been selected for the raffle then you can go in and purchase sc tickets. for sy tour in saudi arabia they allowed raffle winners to buy up to 4 sc tickets. those not selected for the raffle have a chance to buy tickets during early reservation

after sc has been raffled, any left over sc tickets will be made avail for purchase when early reservation opens. early reservation is also only for membership holders and any available seats in the venue can be bought, including the rest of the floor sections.

after the early reservation period ends, the rest of the tickets that are left over are made available for purchase to the general public. the gp will have a specified date for when they can buy the left over tickets.

the raffle system is diff for every country. what i talk about in this thread is going based off how the raffle went for sy in saudi arabia. its not guaranteed this is how the raffle will go for the tickets sales in the us or other countries.

gonna add another tip, try not to buy too many tickets at once! you’re more likely to get tickets if you buy 2 and no more than 4. ticketmaster doesn’t like it when you buy only one seat bc they try to fill up the rows so try to have someone go with you if possible!

adding one more tip! don’t panic if you don’t luck out the first round of ticket sales. never give in to resale sites or scalped tickets. tm will release more tickets later on. they release tickets every now and then in waves. just keep checking the website!

i paid about $296 total for regular floor and $370 total for sc.

each sc ticket comes with a floor seat so you do not need to buy them separately.
