Preterists - has anyone explored the possibility that the #ThousandYears in #Revelation20 might refer a Thousand Years from David / Solomon’s Temple? 68-70 AD would therefore mark the end of the Thousand Years. #Preterist #Preterism #FulfilledEschatology

Is there flexibility in the Greek to allow for this? The concept of “thousand years” is nowhere in Bible, but Jewish tradition holds 1k years from Adam to Noah; 1k to Abraham; 1k to David; 1k to Messiah. Connection to Daniel too maybe, and genealogies in the synoptic gospels?
