Patients WITH DIABETES

90-110g carb/day for meals, up to 30g more for snacks. If you must snack, you're not eating right.

At least Morris Hospital shows the grams of carbohydrate for each menu item. But get a load out of that breakfast menu: you could go either way. I would order 12 eggs, 8 bacon. The sausage might have added junk. And that would be my OMAD. https://www.morrishospital.org/patientsvisitors/patients/room-service-menu/#breakfast
Example after example of crap pseudo food given to hospital inpatients. https://twitter.com/bigfatsurprise/status/1247330660974551040

Here's another (written out, no pic). What is wrong with providers prescribing a high-carb meal plan wit 1200 calories. Should be against "cruel and unusual punishment" statues world-wide. https://twitter.com/aga_pallavi/status/1258653383574994944
And another carb-rich 'cardiac' meal for a diabetic in hospital. Given to female pt whose sugars were out of control high. 😠

Feeding sick people crappy food because it's cheaper, some products are sponsored, and people haven't yet gotten as mad as hell and decided not to take it any more. Yet. https://twitter.com/keys_clay/status/1337748874744705024
