Thread of some decisions that have gone against Arsenal this season.
With the score currently 1-0 to Arsenal, we we were denied a clear penalty by VAR. We all know what happened next. Sheffield United equalise and we finish 1-1.
Aubameyang was sent off with 20 minutes remaining in a 1-1 draw with Palace. Understand the red car, however, Robertson made a similar challenge that same weekend and didn’t receive the same punishment. No consistency.
Jorginho escapes a second yellow for a tactical foul on Guendouzi. No attempt to win the ball and stopped a counter attack. We were winning 1-0 at this point and ended up losing 2-1. Incident occurred on the 76th minute. Fair to say we could have seen the game out vs 10 men.
Aaron Cresswell escaped a red card for a reckless lunge on Pépé. Fortunately on this occasion, we still went on and won the game.
Arsenal vs Palace. Score currently 2-2 with less than 10 minutes remaining. Sokratis appears to score the winner for VAR to cancel out the goal due to a “foul” they have somehow spotted from the following clip. Outrageous.
Arsenal were leading Watford 2–1. Watford equalise, however pictures show that a Watford player encroached by being inside the penalty area whilst we were taking a goal kick. VAR didn’t even check it.
Maitland-Niles was sent off against Aston Villa despite clearly winning the ball. Fortunately we done well to comeback and win the game 3-2. Decision could have cost us.
We were denied a clear penalty against Sheffield United in our first game against them. This was early on in the game with the score still 0-0. We ended up losing the game 1-0. Thanks @shaughsAFC for the reminder.
Arsenal vs Norwich. A red card wasn’t given for this horrendous tackle on Guendouzi. Could have caused a serious injury. Again, no consistency. Game ended 2-2. Thanks, @gooooooner__
Nearly missed this one. Saka not winning a penalty when clear contact was made. This is probably the worst out of all of our penalty appeals. There’s clear contact on Saka’s foot. We lost this game. More points we’ve lost because of refereeing. Joke.

It’s time to add to this thread. Arsenal 1-1 Leicester. 07/07/2020.
Nketiah is dismissed for “endangering” an opponent, whereas Vardy escapes punishment for a kick in the face to Mustafi, which left him with cuts. Apparently this isn’t endangering an opponent.
