I have a friend who has gone insanely off the rails and seems to be on the brink of either prison or death. She tried to commit suicide yesterday, although I think it was a cry for help. She has no money, has lost everything (kids, car, house) and is on the brink of homelessness.

She's drinking copious amounts daily, and is in a violent and toxic relationship. I think she needs some sort of booze & mental health rehab, urgently. She can't afford to pay for any treatment and her parents have disowned her - does anyone know where she might be able to turn?

I mean in terms of free or affordable rehab (not that she has any money whatsoever).
