A small thread on the virtues of šalli 3ala nabi. Unfortunately, mega mind academia MT has now turned their gaze onto the salawat of the Prophet ﷺ and have attempted to disregard it & its tremendous benefits for the believer. So I'll present some things regarding it below.

-1 Allah & the angels (the number of angels cannot be defined as they exceed the confides of human intellectual capacity) send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and Allah commands the believers to send blessings upon him with ta'keed (emphasis, urgency) وَسَلِّمُوا تَسلِيمًا

2. The Prophet ﷺ prayed for the humiliation of the one who abstains from conferring blessings and prayers of peace upon him when mentioned.

3. The Prophet ﷺ gave glad tidings to those who make a lot of salawat (what this whole MT fiasco was about) by informing us all that they are the most deserving of being closest to him, on that tremendous day where all Prophets will say "I am only concerned with myself"

4. Likewise the Prophet ﷺ gave us the glad tidings that whoever confers blessings upon him once, Allah will confer blessings and peace upon them 10 times. What greater assurance is there than knowing this, that your creator by virtue of His Prophet ﷺ will bless you 10xf

5. Imam Al Qurtubi narrates in his exegesis a report from Sa'id ibn Musayyib which he narrates on the authority of Umar ibn al Khattab regarding the pertinent reality of the salawat as it pertains to our communication with Allah. (Yes it is Marfu')

6. Perhaps the most important narration saved for last, and the final one of this thread is this one.

No amount of Bible verses should prevent us from accessing what the Prophet ﷺ recommended us as a removal of difficulties, sins, and a means of good deeds & khayran kathira

Therefore no matter what number, 300, 500, 1,000, have a consistent habit of sending abundant salah&salam upon the Prophet ﷺ, you're not doing him a favour, you're doing yourself one if you only knew!!
