Stuff I finished this year: The thread
Ushio and Tora!
What a classic, wonderful shonen manga with a wide cast and instantly lovable central duo. Great monster of the week that all comes back together into one of the biggest finales I& #39;ve seen. While manga& #39;s style is very much of its time, the story remains timeless.

finished Basilisk
it was like a fine 6/10, short and sweet yet rather trashy but doesn& #39;t overstay its welcome
the art is real clean and the fights were fun all around, and it turned pretty touching by the end

Finished Riki-Oh
Real good balls to the wall action that gets real surreal at times. A great late 80& #39;s macho manga with tons of ultra violence and plot almost too insane to follow

Finished Homunculus
This one was real special. a man gets a hole drilled in his head and starts seeing the insecurities and faults of people as physical manifestations, but also reflections of himself. It goes into some dark places at times, so cw for rape and self mutilation

Watched Uncut Gems
This is the most stressed and uncomfortable I& #39;ve been while watching a thriller in a long ass time. Adam Sandler& #39;s acting is brilliant, the constant cacophony keeps you on the edge and the soundscape is both bizarre and unnerving. Truly a gem of a movie
