I cannot recommend enough being a fan of something that does not constantly infuriate you.

If all you do is rage at/about "your" franchise, you are not living your best life.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't insist upon things you love doing better. By all means, do that. But if you're building your identity around rage, *especially* rage at a fictional universe, you're not doing yourself or those around you any good.
This is part of why I shitpost and muse about obscure Star Wars shit at least as much as I yell about Star Wars. And this is why I tweet about Star Trek and Stargate and Critical Role all the time despite the fact that that's not why anybody's following me.
And if you find that all you have in your tank for a particular franchise is rage, then...well, you're not a fan of that thing. Anymore, at least. And that's totally okay. Learn to let go.
(me retweeting this today is not a subtweet at reylos, in part or in whole - they clearly still very much love Star Wars. I'm just rolling my eyes once again at the people who comment on everything SW with how it's been "ruined" by whichever culprit they're fixated on.)
