Book 1: Beastars Vol. 1

I’ve been meaning to read this for a while, and it definetly lived up to hype! Paru Itagaki’s artwork is incredible, and I love how diverse the character designs are! I’ll be reading vol. 2 very soon!

Book 4: Today’s Menu For The Emiya Family Vol. 3

Emiya Family is always such a fun and relaxing read! I love all the small character interactions, and the food looks so delicious!

Book 5: Bakemonogatari Vol. 2

I’m already a fan of the Monogatari novels and anime, but Oh!great’s manga adaptation of the series is pure insanity! I’ll have a full review of it out pretty soon.

Book 6: The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious (manga) Vol. 1

This is another manga I’m reading for a future review. I had read a bit of the LN and watched the anime previously, and this is a solid adaptation! I’m also definetly digging Koyuki’s art.

Book 7: Go with the Clouds, North-by-Northwest Vol. 1

I forgot to tweet about this a few days ago. I had heard good things about Aki Irie’s work in the past, but this was fantastic! It feels distinct from other detective manga, and the artwork is gorgeous!

Book 8: Dead Mount Death Play Vol. 1

I've always been a fan of Ryohgo Narita's work and this was no exception! The premise has a good foundation, and so far, I'm enjoying Polka as a protagonist. The short novel story on Shagrua was also great too!

Book 9: Dead Mount Death Play Vol. 2

I'm definitely digging the direction of the plot. Lemming seems like a nice addition to the cast, and I'm interested in learning about them.

Narita is definetly taking the series in an interesting direction, and I’m curious to see what the ramifications of the ending twist are going to be.

Book 11: Levius/est Vol. 2

Levius continues to just be a consistently entertaining read! The sheer detail of Nakata’s artwork is insane, and I love his action sequences!

Book 12: Star Wars - The Legends of Luke Skywalker

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this was! The anthology is less about Luke himself, and more centered on the impact he had on those around him. I especially loved the droid story!

Book 13: The Drifting Classroom Perfect Edition Vol. 1

Not only is this a great survival story, but it also gruesomely depicts the loss of innocence. Of course, what ties it all together is Umezz’s chilling artwork! It’s really a sight to behold!

Book 14: RaW Hero Vol. 1

Given that this is by the creator of Prison School, I expected it to be crazy but damn!

I’m honestly not sure how I feel about it at the moment, but I’ll have a full review of the book out soon, so look forward to that!

Book 15: No Guns Life Vol. 3

No Guns Life just keeps growing on me! I’m also happy that Mary and Tetsuro got more attention in this volume, after the heavy focus on Juzo in vol. 2. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more!

Book 16: Blood on the Tracks Vol. 1

This put me on the edge of my seat! From the outset, it’s clear that something is going to go amiss, but the way the volume slowly builds towards that payoff is fantastic. Plus, Oshimi’s artwork is downright gorgeous!

Books 17-18: APOSIMZ Vols. 1 & 2

APOSIMZ is pretty simple so far, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. I'm a bit surprised that Yiyu was defeated so quickly, though it's clear there are bigger enemies for Etherow in the Empire. Nihei's artwork is also fantastic!

Books 20-24: Hinamatsuri Vols.2-6
I felt like reading a bunch of Hinamatsuri lately and I love it! I find it hilarious how the telekinetic powers have basically become an afterthought to the pure insanity of the characters themselves. Also Utako is a blessing!
