A thread of all the books I’ve read in 2020 ✨
1. The Warlow Experiment by Alice Nathan. Overall, I enjoyed this. It’s gothic and creepy which is something I loved. I didn’t get along with the writing style at times, but it was an insightful read. 3 stars.
2. Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets. I haven’t re-read this one for about six years and of course, I loved it. I’m planning on re-reading all of HP this year.

Side note: the films really dropped the ball by writing out Peeves.
3. Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding. Another re-read. I was feeling a bit slumpy and wanted something familiar and lighthearted that I could fly through. V funny. I love Bridget, I hate Daniel Cleaver. 4 stars.
4. Blue Monday by Nicci French. I’ve seen this series doing the rounds and fancied giving it a go. A satisfying psychological thriller that I listened to on audio and really enjoyed. 3.5 stars.
5. Stranger, Baby by Emily Berry. In a bid to attempt to read more poetry this year I checked this one out of the library. I feel ill qualified to properly rate this one as I don’t read much poetry, but I enjoyed it and it left me wanting to try more collections.
6. Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. My second Christie novel and a fun little mystery that I couldn’t guess the ending of. 3.5 stars.
Let’s pick the back up again seeing as I forgot about this thread for two months... 🍋
