So in Riverdale season 1, gangs are violent, grungy, and bad. In Riverdale seasons 2 and 3, gangs are ultimately a noble thing that keep young people out of trouble and welcome everyone.

Riverdale season 3 even has the main gang become deputized and puts them to work solving crimes, helping children, and keeping the community off drugs.

This show clearly doesn't exist in any real world with actual street gangs.

Riverdale seasons 2 and 3 are the literal embodiment of that Jake and the Neverland Pirates meme that has Captain Hook telling the children that "a pirate never steals."

Considering how many people are coming after Archie this season, I wouldn't be surprised if Boba Fett made a special guest appearance to try and take the red head down for good
