Scorched. It had to be done. Not to erase but to reveal.

The thread generated an absolute firestorm of activity.

Ignited by the Death of JonBenét.

A most flammable tinder.

A most unsolvable murder.

A most insidious loosh.

Everything we seem to know about JBR is an illusion.
It wasn’t about JonBenét.

It was about the Death of JonBenét.

An innocent lamb, slaughtered.

On Christmas, no less.

What could be more horrific?

More all-consuming?

More “looshing” than a child beauty queen’s lifeless little body being found in the basement by her father?
This case captivated an entire nation, an entire world, seemingly from the moment Patsy Ramsey dialed 911 right up until this very day.
JonBenét wasn’t a sacrifice at all, she was a spell cast over all of us.

A composite of purity and light, developed and deployed in the dark.

Every detail of this case seems to evokes pain, suffering, disgust — our most powerful, draining, negative emotions.

This is by design.
Did you know, there is no record of JonBenét’s body ever being received by the Boulder County Coroners Office?

That’s right.

Two logbook pages recording the arrival of JonBenét Ramsey at the morgue went missing.

Stolen. Gone.

As if they never existed.

https://apnews.com/b661726cf433d7c2375d7e100c3e4bf1
Remember, this is 1996, there are no digital admittance forms at the Boulder Co Coroner’s Office.

Six months after JBR’s death, a man who called himself J.T. Colfax turned himself in to police.

He confessed to the theft, and for trying to burn down the Ramsey’s now-vacant home.
An odd, never-reported twist, no?

More to come.
To everyone asking what happened to the original thread:

Deleted.

First I needed you to walk the same path that I'd obsessively, earnestly followed for years, decades really.

To see what I saw, discover what I'd discovered, connect what I'd connected.

Now, we're ready to see.

Every one of these faces are AI-generated fakes, products of American GPU producer NVIDIA’s new work with generative adversarial networks (GANs).

GANs were *introduced* to the public in 2014 by a Google Researcher.

But when was this tech first developed?
https://medium.com/syncedreview/gan-2-0-nvidias-hyperrealistic-face-generator-e3439d33ebaf
The Ramsey Family moved to Boulder from Atlanta in 1991, soon after John Ramsey's firm Access Graphics was acquired by Lockheed Martin.

What did Access Graphics do, exactly? And why move the entire business and family to Boulder when Lockheed already had a large footprint in GA?
Did you know that in 2000, John and Patsy Ramsey told Larry King that they'd never received, or even seen, an official Death Certificate for their daughter?

Three years later, and no Death Certificate?

Have you ever lost a loved one?

A certified Death Certificate is essential.
Here is the full transcript from the Larry King show, it's fascinating and worth close inspection. I will be referring to it again.

Larry King Live

"John and Patsy Ramsey Tell Their Side of the Story"

Aired March 27, 2000 - 9:00 p.m. ET

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0003/27/lkl.00.html
Quick recap:

First, there is NO RECORD of JBR's body being admitted to the Boulder County Coroners Office thanks to stolen pages from the morgue logbook. https://extras.denverpost.com/news/jon100.htm

Second, the Ramsey's never saw or received an official Certificate of Death. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0003/27/lkl.00.html
Now think for a moment:

In the 23 years since the "Death of JonBenét Ramsey" -- have you ever heard either of these details?

Most likely not.

Yet, this is not speculation, it is fact.

The previous thread, though intriguing and seemingly well-researched, was 100% speculation.
If you are new, here is the original thread:
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1213585074941235205.html

Please read with caution & with open eyes.

It represents the narrative we have been programmed to uncover, programmed to believe.

An intellectual bear trap laid to entrap and enslave our collective conscious.
“As I lay in bed, staring into the morning darkness, I couldn’t help but remember what a spark plug JonBenet always was to our family.” –John Ramsey, the Death of Innocence

"She was our spark plug. She was the energy in our family." –John Ramsey, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
In an interview with Denver's 9News John Ramsey stated JonBenet’s death had been “a near-mortal wound.”

Near-mortal? Interesting. Again with the spark plug reference:

“She was the spark plug in our family and the loss of that presence was just crushing.” https://www.denverpost.com/2008/07/09/da-clears-ramsey-family-2/
Back to Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), and more specifically Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Networks (DCGANs).

Buckle up.
First, you'll need to accept that everything you thought you knew about the "Death of JonBenét Ramsey" was based on a carefully constructed, expertly executed illusion.

For lack of a more elegant term, a hoax.

Perhaps the most famous hoax of our lifetime.
"All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players."
This is the first photo of JonBenét released to the public.

An avalanche of striking, engrossing photos & videos of a little girl in Pageant Queen regalia would follow.

But this was the first.

It was also the first digitally generated face we'd ever seen.

JonBenét was a test.
It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough to cast the spell.

America, and the world, would be transfixed for decades.

Years later as the tech advanced, an attempt was made to "fix" some of the imperfections and incongruities these types of simulated facial images are known for.
Here is a side-by-side.

If you're thinking, well that's just a different photo, you're correct. It's a completely different image. JonBenet 2.0.

The changes are subtle but sophisticated.
How does this technology work?

It's complicated, highly-advanced computing that I cannot begin to adequately explain.

But if you are curious about the origins, capabilities and advances in Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) I recommend this resource.

I encourage everyone to visit this website:

Visit, then refresh. Keep refreshing.

Every single photo on the site was created using generative adversarial networks GANs, a hyper-sophisticated form of Artificial Intelligence.

*This Person Does Not Exist*
Yes yes yes I miss Thread 1 too but the bandaid rip has to be quick.

Every detail in that thread was straight out of the public playbook; the nebula of dark, richly-coded information that saturates our collective conscious, whether we realize it or not.

A smokescreen.

Fiction.
Every. Gruesome. Detail.

Flung out onto the Public by the Media like a vat of boiling hot grease.

Swift, horrendous, never to fully heal.

As from PEOPLE’s original story on the mysterious murder JonBenét Ramsey, published in the Jan. 20, 1997 edition.

https://people.com/crime/read-peoples-original-1997-story-on-the-jonbent-ramsey-murder/
“A small Santa in a red-and-green sleigh sits under a giant evergreen tree by the driveway. Striped candy canes line the path to the front door. More ominously, the entire property is bordered by bright yellow crime-scene tape, like a package no one wanted to open.” Sucker punch.
Recall the Larry King Live Interview on CNN where John and Patsy revealed they’d never once seen or requested their daughters Death Certificate in the 3 years since JonBenet’s death?

They also said there was no yellow crime scene tape around their home.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0003/27/lkl.00.html
Naturally, you’ll think, they must have misspoken. Misrecalled. Right?

How could John and Patsy Ramsey be expected to recall such minute, insignificant details as to certificates and yellow tape, when their precious ANGEL was murdered by a pedocidal maniac — for Heaven’s sakes!
Introducing:

*The Big Lie*

A deception so colossal, if the public were to wake from under its spell, it could disrupt the entire social order. A lie so big, so complex no one would ever think to question. Hitler supposedly coined the phrase, doesn’t mean the concept isn’t true.
Let’s start again with the Pageants, shall we?

Potentially the most salacious, provocative, divisive elements of the entire case.

Was Patsy Ramsey, former beauty queen from West Virginia, pushing JonBenet into the murky, highly-sexualized, exploitative world of Child Pageantry?
Here is a comprehensive list of Pageant Titles JonBenét Ramsey, infamous child beauty queen is purported to have won:

America's Royale Miss
Little Miss Charlevoix
Little Miss Colorado
CO State All-Star Kids Cover Girl
National Tiny Miss Beauty

Impressive. Prolific. Complete BS.
In all my years, all my searches, I’d never questioned the pageants.

Why would I?

The Pageants were akin to oxygen for this story: abundant, unending, necessary.

But we’re they real?

They sure felt real. Sure looked real.

The hair, the makeup, the sequence, the crowns. Fake?
Even the 1997 PEOPLE magazine cover about the case referred to Ramsay as a "pageant princess."

What happens when we pull back the veil and look just beyond the curtain of taffeta blurring our vision?

Just what, exactly, is a “National Tiny Miss Beauty”?

https://www.tinymisspageants.com/
This is the first pageant I looked into.

Ever.

I never, ever thought to search the actual pageants.

From the Tiny Miss homepage:

“Beauty Pageants for young ladies 6 months through 19 years of age (NOTE: age is day of the pageant)!”

© Copyright Tiny Miss Pageants, 1997-2016.
Copyright 1997?

Didn’t JonBenet Ramsey die in 1996?

That’s very curious, isn’t it?

Also, it’s not an actual pageant.

No “title” can be “won” because it’s not an actual pageant, just a pageant preparation.

A dress rehearsal. No pressure.

Or was it something else altogether?
Let’s look at another “Title” of JonBenet’s.

At least “Tiny Miss” has a website.

How about “Little Miss Colorado” - sounds legitimate enough, right?

“Little Miss Colorado is a Christian based pageant system. We are not looking for an adult in a child's body.”

Excuse me, what?
Here’s the site for “Little Miss Colorado” which is also creepy, like a menu or offering of some sort.

And if you look closely, all of the children featured look a little “off” in the same way JonBenet looks off when you observe too closely.

Manufactured. http://littlemisscolorado.com/AboutUs.html
And this one especially, from the Tiny Miss website.

The whole image is a bad composite, but the poorly-photoshopped baby feels like a crude, bizarre addition.
But things really take a turn for the WTF when you search “Colorado State All-Star Kids Cover Girl” another one of JonBenet’s purported title wins.

It doesn’t exist. Not in any form outside of the JonBenet Ramsey murder case. No other past winners, contestants or even pageants.
We are now in uncharted territory.
And last but certainly not least, JonBenét’s first-ever Pageant title.

Crowned in the Summer of 95 in the rural, lakeside community of Charlevoix MI. A tiny bejeweled tiara sits askew atop JonBenét’s mop of blond hair.

She’d be the first, last and *only* Little Miss Charlevoix.
Do you find it odd that a google search of "Little Miss Charlevoix" generates 1,850 results, all of which are in direct reference to JonBenét’s Ramsey?

A smattering of articles that either A reference her horrendous, unsolved murder, or B reinforce her "excellence in Pageantry".
Again for the record, according to CNN the 6-year-old took home first place for Little Miss Colorado, Little Miss Charlevoix, Colorado State All-Star Kids Cover Girl, America's Royale Miss, National Tiny Miss Beauty and the local Little Miss Christmas beauty pageant.

Or did she?
"The Strange World of JonBenet" Newsweek 1/19/97

"In all the miles of film that were lavished on JonBenet, it is hard to find one frame that captures her soul... the rest of us can only stare at her beautiful face, and wonder what she might have become."
https://www.newsweek.com/strange-world-jonbenet-171868
From the same article:

"We're not looking for the little girl who is all made up in a frilly dress," said Dolly Abbey of Traverse City, MI who was Exec. Director of the Little Miss Charlevoix pageant when JonBenet won in 1995."

Dolly, like her Pageant, has a ghost's footprint.
Dolly Abbey, Executive Director of the first pageant JonBenet would ever win, must have been so traumatized by JBR's death that she left the world of Child Pageantry, never to bestow another crown.

In 1997, she incorporated "Abbey Dolly" a Child Care Service with a staff of one.
And how could we forget "America's Royale Miss"?

Another of JonBenet's supposed pageant victories, and yet another digital dead end.

The only hint of existence outside of JBR's bonafides comes from an article in the Denver Post, "JonBenet Haunts Pageant" https://extras.denverpost.com/news/jon48.htm
OK.

Enough with the blinding lights of Child Pageantry.

We covered the unfortunate theft of the morgue logbook.

We covered the bizarre absence of a Death Certificate.

Now it's time to cover the documentation of JonBenet's life.

Let's begin with her Birth Certificate, yeah?
Not to suggest that one can conjure the birth certificate of a person simply by googling their name and the words 'birth certificate' together.

But isn't it interesting that in the 23 years since her horrific death, not one article, post, tweet, ANYTHING ever made mention of it?
Well, then what about her schoolmates?

Surely JonBenét Ramsey, enigmatic child Beauty Queen -- who'd been described in every news outlet under the sun as a "ball of energy" and a "spark plug" -- would have a bevy of close friends who could one day recount their memories of her?
You'd think, in this day and age when every Tom Dick & Harry has an absolute bloodlust for their 15-minutes of fame, you'd *think* that SOMEONE would come forward to talk about going to school with JBR, or at the very least sell their yearbook to the tabloids for a little cash...
But then, finally, you find it!

Someone who's documented their experience with JBR from when they, too, were living an idyllic childhood in the upscale community of Boulder.

"The Weirdest Kid I ever Met" by Isabelle Kohn.

"She's there, but she's not."

https://therooster.com/blog/things-i-realized-about-morbid-curiosity-after-growing-jonbenet-ramsey
This article was also written by the same author, Isabelle Kohn, purported friend of JonBenet Ramsey.

"I Can’t Get Out of Bed Without Masturbating" VICE, 2019

This thread is not about Isabelle, so we're just noting this as interesting and moving along. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/kzvdy9/morning-masturbation-common-effects
Please forgive the meandering, murky amalgamation of concepts & topics laid out.

When I was a child the idea of doing or creating something singularly unique was a fixation.

To combine words no one had ever combined. To walk a path no one had ever walked.

And now, here we are.
Important clarification:

“Loosh”

This matters very much.
Off topic, but not unrelated.

Once seen, it can never be unseen.

https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/
The level of media saturation reached by these two cases, JonBenét & Maddie, is impossible to underestimate or overstate.

The most horrific unyielding of mysteries.

A steady flow of horrific details, saturating the public awareness in the years to come.

But was any of it real?
People ask:

How did I get here?

What series of steps & missteps delivered me from a deep slumber to a sudden awakening?

The answer:

The “Death of JonBenét”

When asleep, nothing made sense.

The case, a tangled web of trauma.

Then, nothing added up.

A tangled web of deceit.
Artwork by Marilyn Manson.

Yes, that Marilyn Manson.

Sleeping Beauty I & II are a series of watercolors by MM depicting JonBenét Ramsey, American child beauty pageant queen made famous by her murder and by the subsequent mass media coverage.

I suspect Marilyn knows the truth.
MM also focused his creative energy on Elizabeth Short, known as the "Black Dahlia" an American woman who was found murdered in Los Angeles in 1947.

Her case became highly publicized due to the graphic nature of the crime: her corpse had been mutilated and bisected at the waist.
With fresh eyes, look again at the photos released of Elizabeth Short.

What do you see?

Do the images feel “off” in any way?
The “Black Dahlia” murder case mirrors the “Death of JonBenét” and “Disappearance of Madeleine McCann” in that the public was spellbound, captivated, held hostage by the horrific, gruesome details & imagery surrounding the case.

Shocking.

And we, brimming with disgust & dismay.
OK.

Back to the basics.

Back to Boulder.

Back to the Ramsey’s.
“John & Patsy Ramsey, on the day after Christmas, their 6-year-old daughter, JonBenet, a lovely child who had won the local Little Miss Christmas beauty pageant, was discovered dead in the basement of their home, with duct tape over her mouth and a cord twisted around her neck.”
A lamb.

Sacrificed on Christmas.

A most shocking unspeakable death.

Discovered by the very person who just 6 years prior, brought JonBenét Ramsey into the world.

John Bennett Ramsey.

American businessman, founder & former-president of billion dollar company, Access Graphics.
And Patsy.

Pageant Royalty in her own right, as Former Miss West Virginia of 1977.

“Patsy was your normal mom who absolutely loved her kid...the perfect mother and the perfect daughter.”

Recalled by Randy Simons, JonBenét’s photographer, to PEOPLE Magazine following her death.
According to her LA Times obituary:

“Patricia Ann Paugh was born Dec. 29, 1956, and raised in West Virginia.

She was crowned Miss West Virginia, for the 1977 Miss America contest.”

First time around, nothing to see.

But with fresh eyes, nothing exists. https://www.misswestvirginiausa.com/past-titleholders
From the Miss West Virginia website:
Important clarification:

“Pat Brown” won Miss West Virginia *USA* Circuit in 1977, not Miss West Virginia *America* Curcuit.
And yet, this oversight doesn’t resolve itself.

Wikipedia backs it up, quickly, but *official* records from “Miss West Virginia America Edition” don’t seem to exist. And the website listed on Wikipedia doesn’t exist.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_West_Virginia

Patsy Ramsey, at Miss America 1977.
This is the crowning ceremony of Miss America 1977 Dorothy Benham.

The images look quite different in terms of coloring and photographic style for the late-1970’s.

Something feels off in Patsy’s photo, mismatched, forced, out of place.

And then someone sends me this.

Look closely.

West Virginia.

“Teresa Lynn Lucas”
And then there it is:

“Teresa Lynn Lucas of West Virginia” mentioned in an article about other winners of Miss West Virginia.

They never even thought we’d look.

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/23307252/the_couriernews/
Someone correctly pointed out that Patsy would have competed for Miss America '78, not '77.

And that's where things get even murkier.

There are no photos, no videos, no crowning ceremony, no digital documentation of the 1978 Miss America Pageant.

But they exist for '77 & '79.
Miss America Crowning Ceremony 1977:

Miss America Crowning Ceremony 1979:

Miss America Crowning Ceremony 1980:

So why does nothing seem to exist for the year Patricia Anne Paugh participated, 1978?
Also, excerpts like this make me think mistakes were made and tracks are being covered.

I have seen this excerpt many times before from a Miss America Judge the same year that Patsy competed. Note the year, he recalls that Patsy seemed "too programmed" and "a little automation".
So, the official website for Miss West Virginia (Miss America) as listed on Wikipedia is down.

https://www.misswestvirginia.net/

And, an *alternate* website URL listed on the org's official Twitter profile is also down.

http://www.misswestvirginia.org/

What are the odds?

Another ghosted trail.
How I feel after looking into Patsy...

This image gives me nightmares.

We’ll explore John’s “history” next.
Allow me a final thought on the Pageantry:

For a child competing in small, local & seemingly non-existent Beauty Pageants, why bother with the ebaborate regalia?

Hand-made gowns of satin and French lace, beaded with pearl, rhinestone and aurora borealis crystals.

To what end?
Enter Pamela Griffin, Patsy Ramsey’s confidant & seamstress responsible for JonBenét’s impressive collection of handmade, highly-detailed, designer-inspired pageant costumes.

Truly a gifted, prolific artist when you consider JonBenét’s pageant career spanned less than two years.
The name always struck me.

"JonBenét"

A portmanteau: a linguistic blend where multiple word phonemes (sounds) are combined to create one singularly-unique, brand-new word.

Never before seen or heard.

Like smog, of smoke and fog.

And JonBenét, of John Bennet.

A star is born.
"JonBenét"

Singularly searchable.

Making this article by the Denver Post *most* intriguing.

"Text of JonBenét autopsy report"

Published August 13, 1996.

JonBenét wouldn't be sacrificed on Christmas for months, 136 days to be exact.

http://dpo.st/2cGOfOf

via @denverpost
Chalk it up to just another harmless chink in the armor?

Another bizarre, inexplicable, but *ultimately* explainable discordances found in the finer-details of this case?

What's our other choice?

The simplest solution is most likely the right one.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor
And why does JonBenét Ramsey's official IMDB page appear to have been published on December 17, 1996, nine days before news of her tragic, unspeakable death was to crash upon American and the world like a tsunami?

Curiouser and curiouser.
OK. Back through the looking glass.

Despite our well-spring of JonBenét Ramsey details, we don't seem to know much about her father & namesake, John Bennet Ramsey, other than that, by all accounts he was a remarkably-successful businessman with a tragic roster of dead daughters.
Reaching the billion-dollar mark in 1996 was no small feat, and yet, it came relatively quickly for John Ramsey's booming company, Access Graphics, the firm he started in 1988 and then sold to Lockheed Martin Corp. in 1991.

According to reports, that is.
