WHAT IS THE DSC (7H cusp)?

ok so yesterday i was reflecting upon the range of what the descendant (opposite of ASC) can mean in our birth charts, & considering the DSC is the horizon, the first step in this procedure has been to define the horizon.

i proceeded in two steps.
first, i decided to sum up what i know the horizon to be, & here’s how i would define it :

if we consider ourselves to be constantly in movement, the horizon represents a focal point that will be a “future” current location when we reach that point.

meaning, DSC is a destination, it is what we are guaranteed to find at the end of the path, of our path.

from this first definition i established, the DSC can mean many things depending on how we see the ascendant :

•if ASC/1H is seen as who we are, our attitude, then DSC is who we are set to become (end of the path of our identity)

N.B : it doesn’t present itself under the guise of a version of self we aim to become like the MC, it is simply just, the person we become outside of (cont)

our realization as an individual in the world (which is represented by MC). this one is more personal.

•if ASC/1H is seen as the “mask” we wear, then DSC would be, the “real” person behind the mask, so technically who we “truly” are, beyond what ppl see of us.

now, let’s get into the second part of defining the DSC/horizon :
looking up the actual consensual meaning of the word.
here’s what i found.

the most important definitions here will be the 1st & 3rd ones.
because, if the horizon is a LIMIT our sight cannot go beyond (1st def), &/or, the line beyond which things are INVISIBLE (3rd def)..

it means, that the DSC represents, what people do NOT SEE about us.

lemme clarify before i go further so that things can be understood with the utmost clarity, i am using a perspective through which the birth chart is entirely self centered rather that divided in two parts, of self (1H to 6H) to others (7H to 12H), which is why (cont)

DSC is entirely about self & not an eventual partner.

so yea, the DSC as well as the 7H, would be the domain of elements that are in us but that people do not see, & that we often do not see either.

this perspective kinda corroborates the one in which the DSC is the actual person behind the mask (this was in the first step of the defining).

& from there, we can also conclude that placements that are conjunct to DSC (from the 6th or the 7H) & 7H placements as well,

are ppl who can tend to be invisible to others, & what people see of them can often be a projection of how they themselves deal w
-the energy of the sign on the ascendant of the 7H person
-the “shadow” of the sign on the descendant (not so sure about this one right here yet).

to get to know a 7H person demands an actual investment in the sense that you have to go for their “hidden face”.
being a 7H person is like being on the Moon but essentially living on her hidden face, sorta.
