Feet set to throw flat, swings eyes back to the hash, drops arm slot to throw around free rusher and still throws with touch and where only his TE can make the play (it's dropped but with DPI). Welcome to #TuaTape.
Back to the basket before sliding up and into space in the pocket. This is an open window throw, but definitely appreciate Tua zipping this ball home and the ball getting to Ruggs in stride.

One of my favorite qualities is how balanced he is when moving in the pocket.
Bama opened the LSU game with the exact same route combination and Tua again hit the deep cross, although this one required more touch and more eye movement to hold LB Patrick Queen from continuing to get width and undercut the throw. Tua opened this window with his eyes.
Same rep from the end zone. Look at him turn #8 inside out in his zone drop. Tua flipped his eyes 4 times before the throw.

Right, left, right, left.
This is what the feet look like with a *bad* ankle lmao #Smooth
This was the snap they caught Stingley with for the first long touchdown. Might hang this in my living room.

Yo I don't know how I missed appreciating this throw when I was in the stadium but this back shoulder toss vs. Stingley is SUBLIME. If you're going to test #24, you can't throw it flat or he'll get eyes around and pick it. Look how Tua alters ball trajectory to drop it in. YES!
My friends, I literally cannot.
Tua has that quality to beat the first free rusher that seemingly all the really good ones have.
