What happened to got7's Junior? A thread

On August 15, 2016—after 3 months of inactivity on twitter—"Junior" unexpectedly posted a now deleted tweet saying he was going to start going by "Jinyoung" instead. Nobody knew why. However, fans trusted that it was still him and continued to support him.

However, it's CLEARLY not the same person. Take a look at the selfie JINYOUNG attached to his name change announcement (left) and a picture of JUNIOR from an interview done while in Hong Kong for a stop of the Fly tour a couple weeks prior (right).

They're COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PEOPLE! I really don't understand how nobody else seems to see it. It's all in the eyes. The clear bright, pleasant look Junior's eyes always had is gone. Jinyoung's eyes show no emotion. No remorse.

Their sense of style is so different. Junior was SO much more fashionable. Jinyoung has no idea how to dress himself. It's sad, really.

It's just so weird. Jinyoung is NOT Junior. What happened to Junior? Why did he disappear? Was he perhaps...killed by a jealous Jinyoung? Maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself but it's been years without sign of Junior ever coming back. I miss him so much. #NotMyJunior
