here’s my theory:

if you’re going to bash me for believing in the power of degrees then stop reading here.

the MC is the public image, 10H career, what you’re working towards.

so my MC is in cap and that really doesn’t mean shit for me besides i’m driven in my work.

so i look at the degree. 17° is a leo degree. leo is ruled by the sun. so i looked to see where my sun is. my sun is 29° sag in the 9H.

i want to travel for a living. spread wisdom, spirituality and be a philosopher. i’m going to law school to study international affairs but i don’t ever want to be a lawyer. don’t ever put me in an office or give me papers.

so the 17° degree is leo degree of self expression, creativity, fame, and shining light on people. i want to use speech, my art and all that to influence the masses as a career path.

it’s not isolated at all. but when looking at peoples degrees of MC, the planetary ruler of that degree and where it lands in the chart, it was adding up

i think you can actually look at the degree and just know from that too.

but it’s like this:
1. degree
2. what sign = that degree
3. what planet rules that sign
4. where is that planet in the chart/what is it doing
