Time for a 2020 writing accountability thread. Let's start with goals.

Edit and Query Project Obsidian.
Finish, Edit and Query Project Bloodstone.
Write, Polish and Submit Project Chromite
Draft Project Moss Agate
Draft Project Neon (screenplay)
My focus at the moment is editing Project Obsidian. Which means its time for my least favorite activity: reading editorial feedback. I love it and yet can't stop cringing at my own mistakes.
Got about 2k written in my re-write of Project Obsidian last night.

I'm pretty set on the opening but my brains been percolating on what new scenes to add to improve things. Most of the issues are character so I don't need a total restructure.
I've spent a bit more time and am getting excited about the changes for Project Obsidian.
The romance still needs some work but I've tightened up the characters and thought of some new scenes.
Trying to debate how much of a disaster I should make my bi vampires.

The answer is a lot. ALWAYS A LOT.
Thought I should add this to the main thread for writing goals. I'm chipping away at different projects for fun, today it's Auraquartz. Aka, the trash book of my heart.
Alright, seeing the news for the show show The Brides really has lit a fire under my butt.
I am going to finish the re-write of Project Obsidian by the end of April.
Let it rest for a month as I work on Project Moss Agate.
I've often found myself coming up with ideas before a trend hits, but too slow to finish the project to be able to capitalize on it.

I don't want that to happen this time. I'm going to grind a bit more than I probably should cause dang it, I want this.
I am so hopeless. I've started a new project but I actually think I can complete a very rough 20 k zero draft of Project Jade by the end of this weekend.
Then I can let it rest as I dive into my other projects to get them done.
I printed out Project Bloodstone last night and my plan for that is to go through the tree novellas and find the big events to make sure the time lines are consistent with each other.
Continuing my work on Project Jade today, hoping to get this plotting/zero draft done today.
First two acts already mapped out.
Got me some buzzefeed unsolved and true crime podcasts ready to go to keep me entertained.
I've done a bunch of work for Project Bloodstone the last two days. Focusing on getting the timelines across the three novellas in line.
I'm ready to start draft 2 of novella 1, the other two will require more structural changes.
Oh, I hadn't added it to this thread but I finished my plotting of Project Jade yesterday. Woo!
Time to get to work during lock down. I'm doing #WriteWithKwame with my goal for the end of April being:

Project Moss Agate: 33 k
Project Jade: 27 k
Project Ruby: 40 k

In that order. A week to finish this zero draft of Moss Agate.
After a couple of days of frustration that got wasted, I'm ready to try and get back into it. I'd need to get 15 k done today to get back on track. Which is more than I've ever done but you never know.

#WriteWithKwame
It is no surprise I haven't updated this thread in a month. Pandemic... yay

So, I'm slowly getting back into writing. I've mapped out the scenes for Project Obsidian and am almost ready to get back into the edit but think I need to do some more real world research first.
Then I need to keep working on the book development bible for Project Bloodstone, one of the novella's has been like pulling teeth to find a solution to its problems.
Hoping that I'll reach the end point soon so I can start the re-write.
I also really want something different so I want to jump into the drafting of Project Jade but... we'll I've *wanted* to do a lot through all of this and I need to remember that it's ok if I'm not able to do it all.
