Week 3 update: I finally got to watch "Grave of the Fireflies" and bro BRO

I just realized I never updated last week: We watched "Kiki's Delivery Service" but the first half in English and the second half in Japanese and BRO switching Jiji's voice actors KILLED ME

Week 6 update: we watched snippets of many 90s films, one of them being Pom Poko.

My professor before she played clips: "If seeing raccoon dogs' giant testicles beat up humans will make you uncomfortable, I won't blame you for leaving"

Week 8 update: I watched "Princess Mononoke" again earlier and I still love it, but tell me why I forgot how violent the movie was omg
