FIRST of all let& #39;s get this out of the way: daewang is not being forced to wear the mask. She doesn& #39;t dislike wearing the mask. The girls came up with the concept themselves
the CEO of pinkfantasys company is an ex idol herself and she wanted to start her own company so she could make an idol group with members of all ages and appearance. She knows what it& #39;s like to be an idol and the stress it can cause and she ALWAYS put members well being first.
she also formed pinkfantasy based off of trainees she wanted to give a second chance in the industry. Many of the members had debuted before and would have been rejected by other agencies but she went out of her way to include them in her company and give them another chance.
With the ceo as well as all the members being involved in the industry before, they knew they needed something to make them stand out from their past experience. That& #39;s why they decided to create an alice in wonderland concept!
daewang talks a lot on fancafe and in shows and she says she enjoys her role in the group. She says she& #39;s a very self concious person and that the mask helps her lose her stage fright. She& #39;s also Japanese so maybe she& #39;s self conscious about her korean
Also, daewang might not reveal herself after the first win that was kind of a joke. She& #39;ll reveal herself when she& #39;s ready. Also their songs are based on fairytales so when the story is right they might reveal her
