I was thinking of the segment on @lawrence& #39;s show where a psychiatrist consulted a military field manual to try to think about leadership qualities and where Trump falls short. If he were a lower ranking officer, would his behavior get him pulled from command?
These are the qualities a military officer is supposed to possess:
1) trust
2) discipline/self-control
3) judgment/critical thinking
4) self-awareness
5) empathy

As @lawrence points out, one quality that an officer is specifically *supposed to* possess is the ability to remain calm under pressure, and not get visibly upset or angry when receiving bad news.
The capacity to anticipate the consequences of your actions - including second and third degree consequences - sounds like something useful in this situation with Iran. Is there any possibility in the world that Trump possesses even an ounce of this quality?

A real leader has a capacity for trust, good judgment and self-discipline, critical thinking skills, and an awareness of self and others. Trump does not possess a single one of these qualities. He is the worst possible leader we could have in a crisis. #NoWarWithIran
