First game of 2020 complete

Tokyo Dark Remembrance on Nintendo Switch.

Bought it on a whim & it turned out to be a great game. Definitely need to give it a second play through to see how my decisions impact the ending.
Second game of the year complete: The Long Reach.

Another game bought on a whim that I wasn't disappointed with. I really enjoyed this game. Was quite short but it got me thinking & the guy wielding what I'm assuming was a machete kept me on my toes πŸ˜…

Right, what's next?
Third game of the year complete; God of War 3.

First GoW game I've played in ages & it's made me fall in love with the series all over again.

Loved this game from start to finish. Great story, awesome combat & weapons, brilliant game play. Can't fault it at all.
Fourth game of the year complete; Perception.

I neither loved nor hated it. It was an interesting concept & the story was alright, although I found aspects of the game play rather annoying.

Would I play it again? I highly doubt it.

Next!
Fifth game of the year complete; Life is Strange 2.

Not gonna lie, I absolutely loved this game. By the time it was over I was so attached & invested in the characters. It was a rollercoaster of emotions with fantastic story telling & I didn't want the story to end.
Sixth game complete; Grim Legends - The Forsaken Bride.

Standard point & click game. Story was alright, nothing to shout about. The puzzles were fun though.

Now do continue with We Happy Few or start something else? πŸ€”
Seventh game complete; Dying Reborn.

Considering how short this was, it was actually alright. Essentially, you've to solve puzzles to get out each room & find your friend Shirley. Had a nice little twist at the end. Would probably play again but in VR to see how creepy it is 🐟
Eighth game complete; Arkham Origins.

Love how many times this game bugged out on me πŸ™„ just as I was starting to enjoy it more as well...

Safe to say this isn't a game I'll be returning to any time soon.

Next.
Ninth game complete; Burly Men At Sea.

Not sure how I ended up with this game, but it turned out to be a charming, fun little game that I couldn't put down. Loved it so much I went out my way to get all the endings and the platinum. Worth a try!
Tenth game complete; Grim Legends 2.

Another point & click adventure. Apparently I'm hooked on them. Don't judge me.

Now back to Blair Witch..
Game #11 complete; Blair Witch.

Honestly, if you haven't played it, don't put yourself through it. It isn't worth it. It's given me a headache...
Game #12 complete; The Simpsons Game

I remember this being a lot better than it was. I still found it enjoyable, but instead of wanting to find all the collectables, I found myself rushing through it wanting to get to the next level.

Nevermind. Glad it's gone from my back log.
Game #13 complete; Grim Legends 3.

Makes me sad I've ran out of point & click games for the time being. They're always a fun way to pass an hour or so...
Game #14 complete; Lydia

This was quite a depressing game. It tackles issues such as child emotional abuse & alcoholism from a child's perspective. I wasn't prepared at all for this.

Very short, but worth a play.
Game #15 complete; Agatha Christie The ABC Murders

This was actually quite a fun game. My biggest issue was how slowly Poirot walked.
Good story, the game mechanics worked alright & I didn't figure out who the killer was. Not a bad murder mystery at all.
Game #16 complete; Killzone 3

I've never played a Killzone game before so I don't know if this is any good in terms of the actual series, but just as a one off, I really enjoyed it! Haven't played a FPS in a while but this has got me itching to play more.
Game #17 complete; Remothered Tormented Fathers

Overall it wasn't a bad game, but holy fuck was the AI annoying πŸ˜–

Definitely worth a play if you like survival horrors & it's cheap, but I wouldn't recommend paying full price as it's super short & really frustrating at points.
Game #18 complete; Viviette

Really enjoyed this game. Very heavily puzzle based, lovely art style, good story. It was very short but well worth the couple of quid I spent on it.

Oh, & as standard, I got the bad ending πŸ˜‚ need to play it again for the good one.
Game #19 complete; A Plague Tale

There are no words to describe how much I loved this game & how amazing it is, so I'm not going to bother trying. All I'll say is if you haven't played it, you need to. Best game I've played so far this year β™‘
Game #2020 complete; Pokemon Sword

Finally got the story line completed & the legendary captured. Definitely taking a break from it now, will go back later to finish my Pokedex when the expansions come out.

Loved this game, thought it was a great addition to the series β™‘
Game #21 complete; Bear With Me: The Lost Robots

Loved this game! Was a really enjoyable point & click. Fun little story with some witty dialogue. Worth a play if you're into point & click adventures

And I got the platinum πŸ’ͺ🏻
Game #22 complete; Bear With Me.

A follow on from Bear With Me The Lost Robots. It was just as much fun as the Lost Robots. Witty, well written, good story, not sure what more you could want from a point & click game πŸ˜…
Game #23 complete; Beat Cop

This was a great game, I really enjoyed every minute of it (especially giving put parking tickets πŸ˜‚). Didn't quite get the ending I wanted but at least I can play it again.

Now to continue my adventures in the Wild West on RDR2
Game #24 complete; Donut County

There is literally nothing to this game but it's so much fun πŸ˜‚

🦝🍩
Game #25 complete; Concrete Genie

I'd heard lots of good things about this game & it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed using the motion sensors in the controller to paint. Really need to try this on the VR now 🎨
Game #26 complete; Control

I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. Had zero idea what the story was but the gameplay was pretty decent. Probably wouldn't play again.
Game #27 complete; Queens Quest 3

Nice simple point & click that kept me busy whilst waiting for Animal Crossing.

Now to go tend to my island πŸπŸ‘
Game #28 complete; Secret Files Sam Peter's

Took a short break from AC to play this. Standard point & click but man alive it's short. It was finished before it even got going. Not exactly bad but not amazing either. Glad it's out my backlog though.

Right, back to my island 🏝
Game #29 complete; Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders

Took a small Animal Crossing break to tackle another game in my back log. Was a pretty decent point & click but I just wanted to finish it to get back to Animal Crossing πŸ˜‚
Game #30 complete; The Council: The Mad Ones

(I know this is an episode based game but the episodes are quite long so...)

Enjoying this, good detective style game where your choices have consequences. Looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.
Game #31 complete; Animal Crossing New Horizons

Credits rolled so technically it's completed πŸ˜…
That being said, I'll still be playing for months to come. So much to do now that I can change the terrain 😍 will still be playing at Christmas πŸ˜…
Game #32 complete; Red Dead Redemption 2

This game is an absolute masterpiece, I cannot sing it's praises enough. I loved every single minute of this game & I'm so sad the story is over.

Well done Rockstar on making one of the greatest games I have ever played.
Game #33 complete; Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc

This is the second time I've played this game & I loved my 2nd play through just as much as the first.

Awesome game with amazing characters & a brilliant story. If you haven't played it I can't recommend it enough!
Game #34 complete; Brothers A Tale of Two Sons

I love this game, the idea of controlling each brother with each analogue stick I think is fantastic. I love the story even if it is a short game. 2nd time I've played this & it still moves me. Brilliant game β™‘
Game #35 complete; Corpse Party: Book of Shadows

This game is incredible. The story is amazing & incredibly creepy. The bad endings were so grim but I'm glad I got them. Can't wait to play the next one in the series!
Game #36 complete; Breeder: Homegrown

Not gonna lie, I had no idea what the hall was going on in this game. I love the style of it, but I lost what the plot was pretty early on. Maybe I should play it again...
Game #37 complete; Later Daters

If anything, this game was amusing. Essentially a weird dating sim for old people. Worth picking up if it's cheap just for the comedy value.
Game #38 complete; Call of Cthulu

This game is amazing! I loved it from start to finish. Didn't expect anything from this but once I started it, I couldn't stop playing it. Will definitely be something I'll play again at some point.
Game #39 complete; The Walking Dead Michonne

I don't know why I didn't play this sooner as I loved it. I really like Michonne as a character, her story was really interesting. I wish they'd done more mini series like this.
Game #40 complete; Coffee Talk

This was such a chill game. I loved making the drinks & trying to do the latte art (which I was awful at). I found all the characters & their stories interesting too. Overall, a pretty decent game.
Game #41 complete; Stay

This was an unusual little game but I thoroughly enjoyed it. A visual novel mixed with puzzles & a story so intriguing I couldn't put it down. Another game with multiple endings depending on what choices you make. Would definitely recommend 😊
Game #42 complete; Dreamwalker

I'm normally a big fan of point & click games, but the story in this one was lacking some what, definitely not as entertaining as others that I've played.
Game #43 complete; The Mystery of the Hudson Case

I don't mind short games as long as they have a good story. This however, was both short & shit. Glad I only spent a couple of quid on it. Considering it looked really interesting, I'm disappointed to find it wasn't.
