If you are growing as an individual, then you should be able to see the redundancy on here. This is why big accounts eventually degenerate into platitudes or just yelling at their followers. They have to stay relevant and rely on the divisive model of engagement.
Retweets is what makes twitter unique. A like is nothing compared to a retweet. Retweets are the ultimate sign of respect for an idea. It’s also a great way to share the vitriol that is thrown your way.
Eventually, you will think in tweets. This is a feature, not a bug. The positive feedback loop that is the dopamine pump of engagements will mold your thought process into ideas that are 280 characters or less. Or maybe you should just make a thread? h/t @M4L0N3
We ALWAYS come back to twitter because it is the place we can talk/hear about the things we are interested in. We get to connect with the interesting people who make the strange ideas we enjoy. We can join a community. This is as terrible as it is wonderful.
Find teachers, not takers. Interact. Make friends. Don’t let anyone waste your precious time with nonsense. Don’t stare at the fire and don’t light the match either.
