thread of the most iconic and my favorite eurovision songs (since I started watching and in no particular order):
1- Heroes by Måns Zelmerlöw.
• Sweden, 2015.
• Final: 1st.
• This is one of my favorite songs ever. The staging was SO beautiful and he was the first one to do something as iconic as this. Forever in love with this song, performance and human being.
2- Euphoria by Loreen.
• Sweden, 2012. (Shocking, sweden making a great song)
• Final: 1st.
• Beautiful. Stunning. Unique. Iconic. I still get chills whenever I watch this performance or listen to the song.
3- Allez Ola Olé by Jessy Matador.
• France, 2010.
• Final: 12th (HOW, this deserved to be top 5)
• The energy and power this has. I still enjoy this song so much, I truly hope one day Jessy will be back in Eurovision to snap like this again.
4. Lie To Me by Mikolas Josef.
• Czech Republic, 2018.
• Final: 6th (deserved 3rd)
• He was phenomenal, he came through his accident and made this great performance. It was the only song that made everyone in the cinema stand up and dance. ICONIC.
5. Fuego by Eleni Foureira.
• Cyprus, 2018 (2018 was a really good year of music huh)
• Final: 2nd.
• What can I say about this when people call her the european beyonce. She was fire herself. Can't do anything but love her.
6. Arcade by Ducan Laurence.
• Netherlands, 2019.
• Final: 1st.
• I fell in love with Duncan right away. His voice is so special. The lyrics in this song are beautiful (the whole song itself is beautiful). His vocals are incredible. Absolutely stunning.
7. Amanecer by Edurne.
• Spain, 2015.
• Final: 21st ROBBED. SO ROBBED WHERE IS YOUR TASTE EUROPE.
• Queen of Spain, period. She served vocals, choreo and her emotion was so pure, europe doesn't deserve her.
8. Dum Tek Tek by Hadise.
• Turkey, 2009.
• Final: 4th.
• When you think of iconic eurovision performances and songs, it's literally impossible to not think about this one. THE POWER THIS HOLDS.
9. Fairytale by Alexander Rybak.
• Norway, 2009
• Final: 1st.
• The crush I had on this man after watching this... I swear I thought I was never going to get over it but pretty sure that everyone in europe felt the same lmao. THIS IS SO DREAMY.
10. Dancing lasha tumbai by Verka Serduchka.
• Ukraine, 2007
• Final: 2nd I think?
• I remember watching this with my parents and we were like: "what is happening in europe" and the fact that now I LOVE THIS SONG lmfao Iconic, iconic, iconic.
11. Party For Everybody by Buranovskiye Babushki
• Russia, 2012.
• Final: 2nd.
• I don't know how they came up with this idea BUT I LOVED THIS AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THIS. They are literally the cutest, they all stole my heart.
12. Run Away by Sunstroke Project and Olia Tira.
• Moldova, 2010.
• Final: 22nd HOW THE HELL THIS WAS NOT TOP 10
• Memes aside, this is actually a great song that deserved better? The sax guy was the coolest but also the violin guy.
13. Soldi by Mahmood.
• Italy, 2019.
• Final: 2nd.
• Mahmood is amazing and the song is so great, I loved that Italy chose to send a song like this with the message it holds. The beat is so sick I'm still not over it.
14. Only Teardrops by Emmelie de Forest.
• Denmark, 2013.
• Final: 1st
• BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL. And she was so lovely. Still waiting for a collab between Alexander Rybak and her lmao
15. Aphrodisiac by Eleftheria Eleftheriou.
• Greece, 2012
• Final: 17th WHY HOW WHY
• I used to stan this performance and this woman so bad, sigh, an underrated bop.
16. She Got Me by Luca Hänni.
• Switzerland, 2019.
• Final: 4th.
• HE WAS SO GREAT HERE. One of the best performances of the night, he really delivered. Also he was the sweetest, so I hope we get to see him again at Eurovision!
17. Golden Boy by Nadav Guedj
• Israel, 2015.
• Final: 9th.
• The chorus is so catchy I can't-. If this song (or any of the other eurovision songs for that matter) was released by an american, would be on top of the charts, let me tell you that much.
18. Storm by Victor Crone.
• Estonia, 2019.
• Final: 20th I don't have faith in europe after this and la venda
• It's a great song, and Victor was my biggest discovery (badum tss) of the year, I loved literally every song he released after Storm.
19. La Venda by Miki Nuñez.
• Spain, 2019.
• Final: 22nd. SIGH
• I'm still hurt. Miki gave his all, even some of the other contestants said that they don't understand how this one wasn't a top 10 when it was one of the favorites. SAD.
20. Too Late For Love by John Lundvik
• Sweden, 2019
• Final: 5th.
• Loved this performance and the song is soooooo cute. It's actually my best friend's favorite song from last year.
21. Nobody But You by Cesar Sampson.
• Austria, 2018.
• Final: 3rd.
• Up to this date, it's one of my favorite songs in general. LOVE THIS. Cesar's voice is so amazing. I can't even count how many times I sing this song every month.
22. Higher Ground by Rasmussen.

24. Say yay! by Barei.
• Spain, 2016.
• Final: 22nd.
• ROBBED. AGAIN. My girl was on top of the charts in most european countries yet it didn't reflect on the voting
25. La La Love by Ivi Adamou.
• Cyprus, 2012
• Final: 16th in Final
• DOES ANYONE NOT LOVE THIS SONG? Or this woman. Cause I don't think it's possible.
26. Moustache by Twin Twin.
• France, 2014.
• Final: 26th.
• This is such a funny song and so catchy lmfao. I used to like this back then and it's still so fun to watch.
27. Tonight Again by Guy Sebastian.
• Australia, 2015.
• Final: 5th.
• Australia really came to eurovision to deliver bops and they aren't even sorry.
28. Quédate Conmigo by Pastora Soler.
• Spain, 2012.
• Final: 10th (woho!)
• This is not my cup of tea BUT it is a really beautiful song and Pastora was wonderful, she has such an amazing voice, no wonder why it did so good when she's so special.
29. Monsters by Saara Aalto.
• Finland, 2018.
• Final: 25th.
• Europe didn't vote her only to vote the next year for the exact same song. I'm still so pissed about this as much as I love the other song. So at least in my thread she's gonna be first (?)
30. Say na na na by Serhat.
• San Marino, 2019.
• Final: 19th
• Y'all are gonna hate me for this but this is a fun song, and I had a great time watching the performance with my friends. I'm gonna appreciate Serhat in my thread cause he's a legend lmao.
31. Baila El Chiki Chiki by El Chikilicuatre.
• Spain, 2008.
• Final: 16th WTF
• Literally everyone knows the lyrics in Spain. We sent someone to laugh at the show and we got a better position than when we send someone seriously CAN WE SEND HIM AGAIN.
32. Truth by Chingiz.
• Azerbaijan, 2019.
• Final: 8th
• A BOP. What else can I say.
33. Friend Of A Friend by Lake Malawi.
• Czech Republic, 2019.

• Okay this song is SO CUTE. And I actually liked the performance more than the studio version.
34. Look Away by Darude and Sebastian Rejman.
• Finland, 2019.
• Final: 17th in Semi-Final 1 (SIGH Y'ALL DON'T HAVE TASTE).
• CAN WE APPRECIATE DARUDE IN EUROVISION PLEASE

• Final: 5th.
• SO CATCHY and the singer is a big ass YES.
37. Toy by Netta.

• Controversial, I know, but I do enjoy the song SO MUCH. I think it's unique and I can understand why it was the winner.
38. We Got Love by Jessica Mauboy.
• Australia, 2018 (I told you, 2018 was a good ass year)
• Final: 20th
• I feel so good whenever I listen to this. It's so fun and positive. Love this.
39. Scream by Sergey Lazarev.
• Russia, 2019.
• Final: 3rd.
• I don't really vibe with the song, but I wanted to mention the performance cause I think it's worth watching it just for the visuals.
40. Chameleon by Michela.
• Malta, 2019.
• Final: 14th.
• I didn't like the live performance as much as I thought I would, to be honest BUT I still listen to the song and the studio version is pretty great.
41. Spirit In The Sky by KEiiNO.
• Norway, 2019.
• Final: 6th.
• I really didn't think it would do as great as it did since it's basically the same song as Monsters by Saara Alto. I love the song and love the bald guy.
42. Love Injected by Aminata.
• Latvia, 2015.
• Final: 6th.
• Aminata is so precious. I can't. Love this.
43. La Noche Es Para Mí by Soraya.
• Spain, 2011.
• Final: 23rd.

44. Zero Gravity by Kate Miller- Heidke.
• Australia, 2019.
• Final: 9th.
• HER VOICE, THE STAGING AND THE VISUALS THO. I'M STILL SHOOK WITH THIS PERFORMANCE but I don't like the song that much, just appreciating her work lmao.
