Me waiting for the day we can have the conversation about how men yelling 'why would anyone complain about boobs?? I love them!! More for me to see!!

' doesn't actually help the desexualization of breasts since those comments still, y'know, sexualize them.

I've heard those comments throughout time about everything relating to boobs: public nudity, breastfeeding, advertising, and now streaming, and it always seemed a little backwards to me. Like thank you for the general support but also... Not quite the energy I'm going for
Seems to turn the conversation from women's autonomy to men's turn ons which while common with many women's rights conversations, is still annoying. But at this point this is so widespread I just gotta shrug and continue to be sexualized, just not openly maliciously.
Which is a step in the right direction, but still so so much farther back than we should be by this point.
I'm so tired of all of this, y'all. Either women are being called whores and sluts and sexualized for existing, or we're being called brave and sexy and sexualized for --

existing. Just let me exist without some dude rubbing a boner near me. Without thinking of one. Existing doesn't make me a sex object, 'positively' or not.
And because this is Twitter I'll be sure to again iterate I will *gladly* take these comments and thoughts over the alternative, and I genuinely thank men who fight for our freedom. Just some thoughts I don't see people talk about, like, ever.
