I got this scratch poster as a Secret Santa gift, so for a new years resolution I'm going to watch these 100 Cult films in 2020.

I've seen quite a few of them before (48ish I think), but for completion sake I'm going to rewatch what I've already seen.
Naturally I created a spread sheet to track my progress, and searched for all of them on Netflix.

14 are on Netflix and 3 I own on DVD, and then I'll have to start looking elsewhere!

I'm prepared to host movie nights to make this happen!
Enter the Dragon, 1973.

One down. 99 to go.
Film 2: The Terminator, 1984
Film 3: Videodrome, 1983.

Only 3 films in, and this has raised the bar for wierdness.
Film 4: Lost in Translation, 2003
Film 5: Dazed and Confused, 1993.
Film 6: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 1975
Film 7: Mars Attacks! 1996
Film 8: Goodfellas, 1990.
Film 9: Rocky Horror Picture Show, 1975.
Film 10: Robocop, 1987

This film is full of cartoon villians, ultra-violence and a musical score that feels oddly off genre.
Film 11: True Romance, 1993.
Film 12: Monty Python's Life Of Brian, 1979
Film 13: American Psycho, 2000

Personally I think it was all in his head.
Film 14: Reservoir Dogs, 1992

Tarantino's direcorial debut, and the last of my poster movies available on Netflix. Starting to call in the movie favours to continue my 2020 goal!
Film 15: Alien, 1979

Such amazing design. A masterpiece.
Film 16: Old Boy, 2003
Film 17: Boogie Nights, 1997

Thanks @AidanPope9 for lending me these films (will post the full list once I've watched them).
Film 18: Big Trouble in Little China, 1986.

A terrible amazing film!
Film 19: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, 1998
Film 20: The Fifth Element, 1997.

Man, it is a stylish film. One of my favourites.
Film 21: Army of Darkness, 1992
Film 22: Withnail & I, 1987.
Film 23: Hard Candy, 2005.
Film 24: The Wolf of Wall Street, 2013.

I enjoyed this on the first watch (back in 2013) but on this viewing I just wanted it to end; 3 hours is too long for this shit-bag to get his comeuppance!
Film 25: Predator, 1987.

"If it bleeds we can kill it."
25% complete!
Film 26: Clerks, 1994
Film 27: Tremors, 1990.
Film 28: Napoleon Dynamite, 2004.
Film 29: (Pink Floyd's) The Wall, 1982

Essentially a really long music video, with some really creepy (amazing) animation.
Film 30: Tron, 1982
Film 31: Battle Royale, 2000.

For the most part it made sense, but by the end I had no idea what was going on. Which sequences were just dreams? I don't know!
Film 32: Starship Troopers, 1997
Film 33: Trainspotting, 1996
Film 34: Ghost Dog, The Way of the Samurai, 1999

A movie about endings.
Film 35: Requiem for a Dream, 2000

😓 The moral of the story is don't do drugs, kids!
Film 36: Hard Boiled, 1992

Lot's of early 90s ill-fitting suits, explosions and police PR disasters.
Film 37: Natural Born Killers, 1994
Film 38: Kill Bill (Volume 1, 2003 and Volume 2, 2004) Yeah, I'm counting it as one movie.
Film 39: Kids, 1995.

This film is dark, and the weirdest thing about watching it during 2020 is all the touching. Social distancing has changed me...

Big thanks to @AidanPope9 and @llaura_hughes for lending me so many films. But now I need more!
Film 40: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 1986.
Film 41: Blade Runner, 1982.

Los Angeles, November 2019. They had no idea what 2020 would bring...
