A sweet sister of mine suggested that I count my blessings instead of criticizing everything around me. That shall improve my life as she said and I believed her.
So everyday I'll try my best to count 1 blessing and be grateful for it. Under this thread

1- Thank God for the blessing of knowing you and being a Muslim.

2- Thank you God for the beautiful family that brought me up and the decent environment they provided for me, where no bad mouthing was tolerated. Grateful to be surrounded by my sweet kids. Grateful for my sisters and brothers and their offspring

3- Grateful for my parents who spent their life caring for us. Grateful for my strong father who lived and died strong. For my loving mother who can't remember me anymore, yet still love me. I will always be proud of you both

4- Grateful for my better half, my nobel man and sweet husband. God sent you to me in time. Didn't know such people did exist in this world. U don't like me saying this but I'll say it again: you are an angel that have fallen from heaven by mistake

5- Grateful for the best country in the world that I belong to: The United Arab Emirates
We are being envied for being UAE citizens. It's the safety, it's the love and support, the pride and it's the heart

6- Grateful for the blessing of good health, the power and strength that Allah gave me. Grateful for being able to do tough sports, martial arts and run marathons. Grateful for not giving up to joints pain and body aches. So very grateful. Thank you God

7- Grateful for peace. May God keep our country and region safe forever

8- Grateful for the beautiful nature

9- Grateful for the rain

10- Grateful for audible that kept me occupied while stuck in the traffic for 1.5 hrs today.

11- Grateful for my job. I work on something related to my specialization and I enjoy it

13- Grateful for my beautiful car. I feel happy when I drive it

14- Grateful for the house I live in. Although it's rented, yet it's still a roof over my head. Thank God I'm not homeless

15- Grateful for being registered in the coming championship

17- Grateful for the food on the table available for me and my family everyday, while some other people have to see their kids starving

18- Grateful for my housemaid! That household work kills me more than 4 hrs workout

19- Grateful for my education. For my Bachelor's, Masters and PhD in geology. Thanks God for enabling me to gain them

20- Grateful for not being a celebrity. Thank God for being an ordinary person who's people aren't concerned about her personal life details. It's a mind clearing blessing. Honestly.
