my fave film ever! what I adore about it is how different scenes get to you everytime you watch it, depending on your mood or what’s on your mind at that moment. a beautiful bittersweet love letter to homeliness!

BOOKSMART (2019) [rewatch]
the best but saddest pool scene in a coming-of-ge film. that one take scene of the fight was incredible and so emotional. HOW IS THIS A DIRECTORIAL DEBUT!!!!

ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND (2004)
a beautiful film!!!! kate winslet as clementine is amazing n I adore the concept, wish I wasn’t dumb when it comes to non-linear plots tho

IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK (2018)
one of the most wonderful portrayals of love in a film I’ve ever seen, also the shot in the first screen cap is one of my fave shots ever, THE SCORE!!!!!! barry jenkins is incredible

MIDSOMMAR (2019) [rewatch]
the first time I’ve watched it since I saw it once in cinema. not as good as hereditary but wow does the set and costume design make up for it. florence pugh SHONE in this film and deserved all the recognition

7/10 . visually STUNNING!!! robert pattinson is brilliant and the score is sososos amazing n keeps u on edge the entire time . the story didn’t fully capture me but the score makes up for it !

first time rewatching since I saw it once in cinema and I had my issues back then and I still do now but I’ve made peace with them and honestly I enjoyed the rewatch a lot! was so fun and exciting and COOL BATTLES

what an astonishingly well crafted film!!! so full of chaos, vibrancy and passion, an immaculate cast with great performances, and the world building was SO AMAZING!!!! truly a reflection of brilliant action filmmaking

another absolute work of art I have tragically not seen until today! so insane, incomprehensible and such a wild ride, i despised Leo’s character yet I was mesmerised by him + the immaculate performance! scorcese is an absolute TREASURE

wow wow WOW this film was IMMACULATE . the visuals and set design were stunning!! it was wild and full of passion and glitter and some of the BEST action scenes and choreography I’ve seen in years, margot robbie perfects this character YET AGAIN

the cast in this film is immaculate and jake gyllenhaal yet again proves his pure talent in this film, so many twists and turns and roger deakins truly perfects it, SO dark and depressing yet brilliant
