At first I started watching this because of course, the VM community was all up on it. I thought it was about skating but it's really about bipolar disorder. Bilang wala naman akong bipolar, hindi ko alam kung accurate ang portrayal nila pero eye-opener pa rin. #SpinningOut
But what I do know, THEY COPIED TESSA'S MOULIN ROUGE DRESS! THEY GOT AN ACTRESS WHO LOOKS LIKE TESSA! WHY WASN'T THERE A SCOTT LOOKALIKE? If he's blond why are his eyebrows black? I AM CONFUSION. #SpinningOut
And they tackle issues not only about mental health, but social issues such as racism and how blatantly it's affecting black people, pedophilia, the perfectionism of the figure skating community, etc. It's actually not a bad show at all.
Don't watch Sp!nn!ng Out if you're looking for Quality Skating™ there's literally hundreds of VirtueMoir videos on the internet for that. Or if you're looking for single skaters, Evgenia, Katelyn, Yuzuru, Patrick Chan, Nathan Chen, etc.
To be fair, I've only ever watched VM skating vids and some of the singles, and the movie I, Tonya so maybe my standards are way too high.
