welcome, 2020!!!
here's what i'll be doing for the next 366 days -- a thread about life, faith, self-motivation, and other stuff! let's all learn and grow together.

1. Accept the things that you can't change. Instead of being anxious or stressed out because they don't go the way that you want them to be, try to not resist the way that the world is. Change your mindset. Find brighter perspectives. Appreciate.

2. Require yourself to set goals whenever you are about to do something so you can make yourself proud; learn from your mistakes; grow; and be better. Continue setting goals until it's not a requirement anymore but a motivation for you to go on.

3. Try and try until you find happiness within,
until you feel like you're not a failure,
until you are not afraid of trying anymore.
You will fall multiple times, feel disappointed and devastated, but in time, you will learn... and the next time you try, you are wiser.

4. Bullying, in any form, should never be tolerated.
To the bullies,
I know you are victims too, bc only hurt people, hurt others. But think about the wonder forgiveness can do with our world. Vengeance is never a good thing.
To the bullied,
Seek help. You're never alone in this

5. If u ever feel like u don't deserve the things that you get in life, think about how God blesses His children. What God gives to us is more than what we ask for. Sometimes,we feel like we are unworthy of His blessings,but things happen because God made them happen. Be grateful

6. Life is too short to be spent on spreading hate and negativity. Be happy. Forgive. Love.

7. Got a chance to attend a talk at upd and here's what I learned from one of the speakers:
"RESILIENCE is accepting failure and seeing it as a chance to bounce back up."

8. Believe that you will get the things that you worked hard for, and prayed so much for...
AND YOU WILL GET IT.

9. God doesn't really require His children to do crucifixion, or other practices of such extent, I think having faith in Him, telling others about His Words and living by them are already enough for Him.

10. An ending can be the greatest part of a movie. Letting go can be the start of a new beginning.

17. You may fail, betray, or disappoint others and that's okay because you're only human and humans make mistakes. But remember that each time this happens, we are given the chance to renew ourselves, to correct our mistakes, to learn... and be better.

18. You cannot choose the things that can happen to you but you always have the choice to be happy. God has a reason for putting you to where you are today. Trust His plans. He's got your back!

23. It is in our times of struggle and self-doubt where God's grace manifests in our lives. So, to anyone experiencing tough days lately, know that God is by Your side. Don't lose hope. Never be afraid to fight for He is your strength. You'll get through it, in God's guidance.

26. Don't be afraid to express yourself especially if you're not hurting anyone with your words. Sometimes, it's even good to speak your mind because you'll never know when you'll be of help to other people.

27. It's not always about just the part that you see, the whole story matters. Be familiar with every perspective before deciding that you can judge other people by the way you see them.

28. We should outgrow problems, not people.

29. It's really hard to say goodbye to the things that you're used to doing everyday. But life is short to be spent on doing the same stuff over and over. Use endings as an opportunity to try new things. Life is a journey. There's more to explore and learn.

31. We will never know that we can do something unless we try doing it. Success doesn't come knocking on our doors, we need real determination, patience, and hard work to achieve it.

78. You can't blame those who fail to abide with the strict implementation of quarantine. Not everyone is financially-capable of storing supplies. Some have to work so their families can have something to eat. Some are homeless. Let's pray for these people too.
