Man in coffee shop: oh hi don’t you do history on TV?
Me: a bit.
We talk history, Versailles etc.
Man: Do you mind people coming up to you? I was in a band, so I know what it’s like.
Me: what band?
Man: Take That.
Me: FAINTS

slightly depressing the (few) people referring me to didn’t happen. Why wouldn’t a person of pop celebrity status be interested in history? Not only is history fab but history fans come from all walks of life.

Thank you so much for all your support on this, friends, so kind. Why wouldn’t a pop star be interested in history? Those ‘didn’t happen’ lot should read a history book or two, they might surprise themselves...
