Yechan picked up the violin because of his mom. Not being great in his studies, he decided that he wanted to be a musician. He practised very hard when he was young & never gave up. But one day he 'fell ill' and got a lot of scars (from his violin journey) & gave up

and wanted to do other music besides classical. After a few years, Yechan picked up the violin again, practised real hard for 2 months and got into college.

The rest is history because Yechan pursued what he truly loved which was music. I read this from his mother's post and there may be some inaccuracies but this I believe is the gist.

His mom expressed her utmost gratitude that Yechan picked up and learnt the violin & never gave up till the end. These days when people say Yechan struck the lottery, she said, really did he, think again! (because he went through so much!)

His mom learnt the violin first and he followed and learnt when he was in elementary school. Yechan's mom went through a lot & gave her all so that Yechan could learn the violin & helped him with everything. Seeing her son being where he is now must be very touching!

Yechan’s mom organizing his musical scores. She said Yechan spent 11 years without leaving his instrument for a single day. He learnt all these pieces without any conditions.

She named 22 pieces +Paganini 24 caprices + Bach’s 6 sonatas & Partitas AND YSATE six sonates...

Since the floodgates are opened once again..

There were many times when Yechan was young that he was kicked out of his teachers' house because he did not meet their standards. He doesn't get praise often either. Even so, he would stand outside and knock and asked to be let in

and ask for 'forgiveness?'. He would knock until they let him in again. Despite all these, he never gave up the violin.

(This was before he had "an illness" and gave up the violin for a period of time but took it up some time again).

If you don't love Yechan... why?!?!!
