A thread: Iconic Shrewsbury Town moments (2010-2019)
Shrewsbury win promotion to return to the third tier for the first time since 96-97 (2012)
Big lad Micky Mellon achieves promotion back to League One at the first attempt (2015)
Andy Mangan scores what proved to be the decisive goal from a free kick against Leicester in round 2 of the Capital One cup and pulls his hamstring in the process. Scott Vernon also missed an open goal from 8 yards that night
Ryan Woods marked Oscar out of the subsequent fourth round tie against Chelsea. Carnage when Mangan scored the equaliser. Salah also sent a shot out for a throw and Hazard went on to refer to us as Strawberry.
James Collins puts town ahead away at Arsenal in the cup (2011)
Matt Tootle puts town ahead away at Palace in the cup. Wild Zaha took us apart in the end. James Collins may have had other things on his mind
Shrewsbury beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 "deep, deep into stoppage time" ( @studunn21)
Town taken apart by Man United in the following round of the FA cup. Stats probably support the 0-3 result
Appointment of Paul Hurst. Don't think anyone could of dreamt of the following season and a half we had considering we were 10 points from safety when he took over
Freddie and his dancing
Countless last minute winners under Paul Hurst
Jon Nolan silencing the Valley with undoubtedly goal of the decade for us
Deano living for every moment of it. Coming in with the town fans when he wasn't playing. Doing cartwheels and knee slides when he was.
Town secure a second trip to Wembley in as many months. Can't believe we were all so naive as to think this time would be the one
Stupidly hot day. Saved a pen. Score a free kick routine described as "a work of art" by sky sports. Still lost. This hurt more than the 2013-14 relegation from League One. It's the hope that kills you
Shrewsbury become the first team in England and Wales to introduce safe standing
. @petercrouch scores his last career goal against us to send it to a third round replay. 2-0 down but win 3-2. Hearty cheers all round
Luke Waterfall scored against Wolves. Premier League Wolves. Luke Waterfall. Should have won the tie really
Perhaps the strangest moment of the decade. Norburn makes it three town players in the Grenada squad alongside Pierre and Beckles. @CheneyJoseph is now a proud Salopian.
Final town win of the decade comes away at Blackpool four days before Christmas.
