Hello. @GreysABC is one of the few shows to have been on before 2010 and (soon to be) after 2019, and no one asked, but here’s the best 10 episodes of #GreysAnatomy this decade.
10. The Sound of Silence—12x9

This is not on here for Meredith’s story but rather because of Alex’s. Honestly, the only thing that made this episode watchable was knowing that Alex got his moment to step up as THE good guy of #GreysAnatomy.
9. The Distance—11x14

Stephanie rarely got the moments she deserved, but in this Amelia-Stephanie centric episode of #GreysAnatomy, the long-awaiting operation on Dr. Hermann delivered so thoroughly that it cemented both stars as Grey’s canon.
8. Put Me in Coach—8x7

Drunk Meredith and Cristina. Angry Bailey. Teddy and Henry. Lexie hitting a woman in the boob. Mark is alive on #GreysAnatomy. *chef’s kiss*
7. One Day Like This—14x17

I’m biased, but @SarahDrew’s execution of April Kepner’s faith is one of #GreysAnatomy’s most powerful narratives. Watching her lose faith and regain it toward the end of her series run is one of the most overlooked narratives of the decade.
6. Beautiful Doom—9x5

Choosing the best guest star of this decade is impossible, but William Daniels’ turn as Cristina’s mentor in Season Nine of #GreysAnatomy was heartbreaking. It also affected Dr. Yang in a way no other mentor had been able to.
5. Bend and Break—11x5

Marriage Story wishes it could. The final episode of the Callie and Arizona romance is the perfect encapsulation of what happens when love isn’t enough to pull you through, and it managed to do it in a way that felt authentic. #GreysAnatomy
4. How to Save a Life—11x21

Fun Fact: I found out Derek died on #GreysAnatomy in the back of an Uber while I was drunk. I couldn’t stop crying and asked to get out of the vehicle, telling the driver, “Someone has died.”
3. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together—10x22

The fact that Burke is a central figure in this episode and yet it STILL ranks top three says... a lot. This was, for all intents and purposes, the #GreysAnatomy goodbye to Cristina Yang, and it was everything she deserved.
2. Silent All These Years—15x19

Perhaps the most powerful and affecting hour of television of 2019, and required viewing for anyone who has ever questioned the impossible emotional devastation around rape— #GreysAnatomy fan or not.
1. Death and All His Friends/Sanctuary—6x23, 6x24

This is the indisputable champion of #GreysAnatomy 2010-19. Where do you begin? RIP to everyone’s innocence.
